My time with PianoMeg was excellent, fun and I learnt so much. Meg is a great teacher, she's patient and understanding and also makes the lessons interesting. She certainly knows music theory and has much experience when it comes to teaching piano but she explains in a way that is easy to understand. I was a complete beginner when I started and lacking in confidence but Meg built up my knowledge and always made me feel at ease. I highly recommend Meg if you're looking for piano lessons in Norwich. Thank you so much Meg for enabling me to enjoy playing the piano playing so much.

Meg taught 3 of our children, the youngest of whom lives with autism, dyspraxia & ADD. We thought the piano would be a good instrument for him to learn & Meg proved to be a wonderful teacher for him. He loved music of all kinds & Meg was amazing the way she allowed him the freedom to choose his music but at the same time teaching him piano skills incrementally. Meg showed great understanding of our son's conditions & he really benefitted from her calm & kind approach. She managed to set standards & boundaries that he found reassuring. Now age 25 music plays a big part in his life & he still plays the piano.

Meg has been teaching my daughters piano for five years now, following a recommendation from a talented young musician. I was keen that my daughters did not feel pressured into taking exams etc. rather that they develop a real love for music and an understanding that they will carry with them forever. As many of Meg’s previous students have subsequently gone on to study music at Uni and practise professionally i was completely reassured by experience and expertise. In addition one daughter is not so confident and worries about what others think or what she does.

Meg has taken it all in her stride, and i have two girls who positively run to get to their lessons. They are just as interested in music as i’d hoped, a love which goes far beyond their piano practise. She is calm and gentle in approach, but with a steely core so the girls know they cannot get away with not trying! She is incredibly kind and genuinely cares about them, and her talent is clear in the music that the girls are able to independently practise and play. I can’t recommend her highly enough!

Meg is exceptionally good piano teacher. My daughter started at 5 years old and now is now an accomplished pianist. It is a skill she will have for the rest of her life.

Wonderful teacher- every lesson was interesting, and Meg tailored her lessons to fit my less-academic style of learning. She has helped to foster a lifelong love of music and I would highly recommend her to learners of any age or musicality.

My 8 year old son joined Meg’s classes a few months ago and he’s absolutely loved it. He’s learnt a lot every week and is improving loads, but the most important thing is that Meg is completely tuned in to how he feels about it. We were worried lessons might knock his enthusiasm but he just wants to play more and more. Thanks!
