Bedrock Music

Steve at Bedrock Music did a superb job for me. Having bought a 1998 Custom Shop Gibson Les Paul that was rather worse for wear I was hoping it could be improved a little by a professional, I was recommended, by my tutor, to try Bedrock. Bedrock then actually did an amazing job cleaning it up, servicing it such that it looks and feels so, so much better!

Have used Bedrock many times over the years for guitars, bits and pieces as well as repairs and Steve is always helpful. Just had the bridge fixed by him on my precious American Strat. Delivered it to him on Thursday and had it back Tuesday. Great job, plays really well and a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Steve also does guitar set ups, was very happy with this process, he was always in contact, checking in with progress and whether I was happy for him to make certain adjustments. Since it was a brand new guitar. Couldn't be happier with the setup will definitely be taking my guitars back to this shop.

Being in lockdown my son decided to have a go at making some alterations to his guitar which he almost achieved but not quite. I made contact with Steve via messenger and had very prompt, courteous and helpful replies. He sensibly waited until the right time to reopen his shop and at that point made contact with me to make an appointment for us to bring the guitar in which he made very easy. The guitar was back with us within a short space of time and I am reliably informed, by my son, that the work has been done to an excellent standard. I own an old Gretsch guitar with high sentimental value that was in a poor condition. Steve at Bedrock Music in Burgess Hill done an amazing job in restoring it for me. He went to great lengths to find a source of bespoke pickguards, which will completely return the instrument to its former state. I thoroughly recommend his services.

My guitar was in need of a general service and Steve did a great job sorting out the tuning and intonation. Great service, quick turnaround and reasonably priced. Would recommend Bedrock Music.

Recommended to me by a friend and it doesn't come much better than that! They did a brilliant fretboard and fret clean and a new set up on an old guitar, and installed new pickups on another guitar - all expertly done. Highly recommended and very reasonably priced.

UPDATE - got my Musicman Axis setup and cleaned too. Looks like new...amazing!!!
