Hmv

Love being able to walk in, physically get DVDs instead of signing up to one of the online movie platforms.
Best thing of all I managed to get the full set of nightmare on elm Street. Back at Hmv but a little bit disappointed as quite a lot of the shelves are empty.

Great staff, very freindly and keen to help. Shop was very organized, great selection. The vinyl selection was huge and the amount of rock and metal was amazing. Some great clearance items too. T shirts and those strange Funko Pop things.

have spent many hours in this store and a lot of money too XD great selection of comics and an amazing selection of pop figures. always excited to browse through here. would 100% recommend. staff are friendly. bought a She-Hulk comic and the guy at the till was happily chatting to me about it. 100% recommend!!

A lovely place with good stock and very knowledgeable, helpful staff. Staff let you browse without hassling you, but are quick to help when you ask.

I do like this shop and there are lots of different things you can get. I do find they have one or two employees that shouldn't work with the public, but once you know who they are you can go and find the nice ones.

Even though staff are helpful. Sadly i find now HMV is not same as once was. It doesnt have that same buzz about it on music and dvd collection. This maybe due to the now download ,streaming services that are so available to everyone of late.

It's mad to think HMV has been on the edge of closing its doors more than once. When every time I go in there it's packed!

I am glad to see that HMV is changing for the better, as many years ago HMV for me was only CDs and skull candy earphones, that needed replacing every couple of weeks ... when phones had Aux ports.

Since those days, they have now expanded and transformed into an all-around geek shop, with funko pops and other cool collectables.

I feel HMV is on its way to becoming the Forbidden Planet we need in South Wales ... perhaps if they brought in Comic Books and Graphic Novels, with even more collectables, then they could be!

I will say though, there seemed to be more people browsing than buying and would say you could get some of the stuff cheaper online.

Nice store, it's either very busy or very quiet, handy for getting gifts for people however it may take time looking up and down the aisles to find what you want.
