Kevin Wain Classical Guitarist

One of the loves in this life I hold dear is the wonderful melodic sound of the Spanish Classical Guitar when in the right hands. I first listened to the incredible maestro John Williams playing live in Birmingham many years ago and was transfixed how the human hand and ear could be so trained and dedicated as to accomplish with simple strings the wonderful level of sounds only few guitarists achieve. In another life I would love to be one of those accomplished players but in the meantime enjoy with such adulation the fantastic sounds certain human beings can make on such a simple instrument known as the guitar. Kevin Wain is another one of those incredible dedicated human beings that can command magical sounds from the guitar. Although not as anywhere near famous as the maestro John Williams Kevin has a wonderful touch with the guitar that can take you to the greats highs and lows only accomplished guitarists can. I truly believe that one day Kevin will accomplish great things with his fantastic performance's playing such wonderful pieces of music as Spanish Ballard or The Sleep of the Little Doll, Study in A or Prelude D and a host of others. Kevin is truly a maestro in his own right and worthy of commanding the respect and success any dedicated guitarist deserves.

I heard Kevin playing in Belper today. What an amazing surprise it was to hear him play. His playing of beautiful classical melodies really lifted a grey and overcast day!
