Five Star Nails

My mum and I went here 3 weeks ago and a lady that was 'meeting and greeting' people was possibly the rudest person in a customer service role I have ever come across. She rushed us through not giving us a chance to choose our colours and then gave my mum a colour she hadn't chosen that was all watered down and sticky when it went on. My mum politely said I don't like that one can I choose a colour please and the woman snatched it off the counter and said well why agree to have it if you don't like it! She took over from the nice girl that was painting my mum's nails and was really rough with her and did an awful job. Not even meeting the edges. On top of that my mum still didn't like the colour because the woman would not give her the time to pick what she wanted. I have never experienced such an aggressive service. They treat you like a number on a factory line not at all like the luxurious experience having your nails should be. We used to use 5 star nails religiously every month for many years and left because another nail bar was more convenient. Our usual nail bar was fully booked that day so that's why we returned to 5 star nails. Never again! Save your money, terrible nails and even more appalling service! Shouldn't be in business.

I had a horrible experience at this nail salon. The lady who did my nails was rude and unprofessional. When I told her one of my nails felt loose she touched it and laughed in my face saying it won’t fall off. She didn’t smooth them down well so when the badly applied polish was put on it didn’t look good. The acrylic wasn’t applied well either. COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.

The worst experience I had doing my nails. I had a full set remove and new one added, I wanted French but with black tip and is dark blue you can only see it in the sun. I wanted manicure as well but she said that she cleaned them with the machine is not needed. She stick in the tip very very poorly almost at the half of my nail you could see it through the nail polish, when I complained she sprayed some colour on top. Not to mention that the glue she added was a lot on each nail and that caused my nail to stick to the skin. Omgggg…plus I wanted the tip to be black and white and they said they don’t do design was to hard. I don’t recommended it at all to anyone….horrendous experience… plus on top of everything this cost me £42 . Disappointing….I wouldn’t give them not even 1 star ⭐️ because even the girl that was doing my nails wasn’t polite at all, rolling her eyes and barely trying to comunícate .

I was not sure to visit once I read the reviews but went today and was soooo pleased with the service and my nails ! Only goes to show reviews are not always trustworthy..they were very professional and yes I will be returning!

Had my nails done here and I am satisfied with the outcome of my nails. Very good costumer service, I would definitely recommend.

So rude!! I honestly can not believe the way the lady spoke to me today! I was unsure on a colour for my nails so picked up 3 and asked to try yhdn first she told me she refused to start my nails until I decided on the colour without trying them! Being a regular customer I thought this was disgusting as I spent £60 each two weeks! I will never return there again pure rude!! I’m in utter shock!

Absolutely sick and tired of the card machine being broken....it isn't as I've insisted on trying it and hey presto it works!! On my last visit they've actually removed it....the quality of nails varies as to what time you arrive earlier the better otherwise your crammed in and a rush job is done whether you like it or not, if you complain they all close ranks and non of them speak 💤😴
