At 7 months pregnant I was turned away as they said they did not have any appointments. I felt very humiliated and everyone’s expressions looked sad, as I am heavily pregnant and had driven all the way to get there. The owner didn’t even have the decency to look up at me, or suggest a wait time. I’ve never been treated so badly by a nail shop and don’t wish to experience such bad customer service ever again.
They take hand in cash no card system that means cheating with taxes too. I wonder how such a Big supermarket like ASDA allows to have small businesses with cash in hand work. I am not sure if cash in hand is allowed in complaint with government tax paying systems?
I had visited this place for the first time for manicure and pedicure with nail designs. I am a nurse and my profession does not allow me to get the nails done like others on regular basis, so I was not sure about nail designs and what exactly I wanted to get it done. First, I was attended by Jeany a female staff to chose nails colour. I had one design in my mind showed them a picture they refused to get it done on my natural nails saying they are too short. I was taken by a male person to do my manicure and it was just nails cutting and cuticles removal there was no proper manicure. I had manicure done few years back and it was very relaxing and they did proper manicure.
Well, going back to my nails design, when they refused to do the nails design I liked, I was not given much suggestion but sent to do pedicure with Jeany until I decide what I want to get it done for my nails. This girl Jeany did my pedicure. She was so loud and no politeness with her approach to customers. I noticed other people had proper pedicure done with the massage by some male attendees and this girl Jeany only did simple pedicure on me that even With bruising my big toe, she roughly scrubbed on my toe which pilled my skin and bleed on my toe. I ended up in pain for my holidays and could not walk.
Never ever will go or advice anyone to go to this place.
On another note, I was quoted a price over the phone for waxing, yet when turned up the price advertised on a board outside the shop was £10 less than what I was quoted. I asked why and was told that was an old sign. I agreed to the treatment where I was taken to a room yet with another poster displaying the same price. I asked the therapist why I was charged a different price where she continued to tell me the signs haven't been changed. surely with these prices up everywhere I should have been allowed to pay what was advertised?!
The overall experience was awful, I would never use their services again, the therapist was rude throughout and told me I shouldn't be there, their rooms are unclean, I was handed a dirty towel twice to use, they smelt, you could see other peoples hairs on it.
