A Star Nails

I’ve been going to this salon for 6+ years. Sadly todays experience wasn’t good. I understand the cost of everything is going up but when I visited just over a month ago a full set was £22. Today, after starting my nails he said it’s now £28. That’s over 20% increase. I wouldn’t mind if the price list was already shown, or if he mentioned it before starting my nails but he didn’t and I had no choice at this point. £28 for basic short extensions and normal colour (not gel) is quite steep. Sadly won’t be visiting again. Please be upfront with your clients when prices increase.

Booked an appointment for 2 pedicures for 1:30 and specifically asked if both can be done together and was told yes. Went in and there was a q of people waiting and all staff working with clients. We were told to sit down and after 10-15 mins they were moving others to the pedicure chairs and I asked how long it would be and they said 1/2 hour. Why did they take in walk in clients when they knew they had 2 appointments booked. Needless to say we could not wait another 1/2 hour and left - really unprofessional and really poor customer service.

Very good service, attention to detail. I think they are very reasonably priced as well. I am very happy with my nails. Their hygiene is very good as well.

I have used this nail salon for some years and i used to love coming here. The owners a lady and a gentleman used to be so welcoming to me, always talking and saying hello to clients. Now when i go in i get nothing but bad looks and they always come over to whoever’s doing my nails and talks to them but don’t have that friendly welcoming atmosphere anymore. It’s a shame they did the whole re fit and it looks amazing but didn’t bring the same comforting and friendly environment with them. The gentlemen who has done my nails the past couple times has been amazing very talkative and helpful, which is a shame the owners attitude has ruined me returning.Last thing you need when you’re paying for a service is feeling uncomfortable and strange looks from the people who are suppose to be in charge. Change of attitude is definitely in order.

Some of the staffs are highly unprofessional and disrespectful. The staff that did my pedicure was all the time talking about me to his colleagues in their language because I had dead skin on my heels meanwhile that was the reason I went there in the first place. In the evening after the pedicure I realised I still have some dead skin on my heel because it wasn't properly done. NOTE: I'm writing this genuinely based on the experience I had on 13/07/22. Never would I go there and waste my hard earn money.

Honestly just completely rushed.
I told the gentleman that I would like my nails short he said no as it apparently looks better long! I mean I do my nails every month I know what I like.
Pedicure took 20 mins what a waste of money

Thank you for accomodating my wedding party of 6, fab service and great job done with our nails. Only downside was advised 5 staff available but only 4 on the day. Not a bother though as we could do the girlie thing together.
