1st Secret Nails

I’ve been to a lot of nail shops but no one compares to 1st secret nails! They always do an amazing job and I when it comes to designs they always get it right.

They go above and beyond for their customers too, today I was in a massive rush and they were happy to help and got me ready with 15 minutes to spare! The loveliest team and the best mani/pedi ever! Couldn’t recommend them enough ❤️

Customer service was great, always offer a variety of refreshments. Very friendly staff & my the details on my nails are amazing!

Really great salon!! Run by really lovely people. Always left feeling super happy with how my nails look and they go above and beyond to give you the look you want. The place is always busy which just shows they're the best in the area!

Had nails done for holiday. Looked great. Stayed on no problems with them. Got lovely remarks about them when people saw them. Only place I get my nails done. Lovely staff. Discount stamps each time you visit. Also part of the blue light card for discounts for NHS workers.

Prosecco on arrival, manager and staff were very inviting. Really got treated like the princess I am 😂💚 Nails are still intact and still look fresh after 2weeks none have broken or bent in the middle. 100% Recommend! Make sure too book before hand and they usually are very busy.

Came down with a friend yesterday to get our nails done for a holiday given all the excellent reviews on google did not expect anything less. I showed the nail artist the preferred nails from the company’s instagram/website I wanted but the artist failed to understand my preferences due him speaking minimal English. Ended up leaving with unevenly shaped nails and gel nail at the base of two of my fingers(on the my actual skin!)and had to request for the artist to redo my nails to which he became quite upset and angry despite him not understanding my request. He then left the table without checking the quality of nails before the end and just told me rudely to just take my hands out of the UV light once it had turned off! Ended up leaving the shop feeling incredibly awkward/uncomfortable. Really such a shame as my friend had an excellent service I think I was just unlucky. Not too keen on coming back…

Had been early afternoon without booking been asked from the manager to book and come later, done that only to return and start being served 40 minutes past booking slot and seeing a customer that arrived 15minutes after me being attended while I was promised someone would come to finish with me - there's free staff for the customer that arrived after but not to finish me.
Customers should be served on a first come first served basis not on connections or skin color.
Been asked the shape for the hands and was told I could not have stiletto long nails infill to shorter length ballerina.
At some point I had 2 of the ladies shouting on my face that they ultimately could so it after I took the file and showed them what I was asking for.
Last but not least, 3 weeks ago made a change of gel colour of my feet for £18, and no pedicure whatsoever has now been charged £23.
Bad experience contrary to the first, not going back for sure

Friendly welcome. Great staff. No design is too much. Always offered a drink (from coffee to prosecco to spirits) Fabulous atmosphere.
