Best manicure I've ever had, by Magga. Magga was so careful and made sure it was perfect, I felt so pampered and she was so friendly! Thank you, I will be back!

Can’t work out if I just happened to have two bad experiences but seems unlikely.
First time, got a lumpy finish on my shellac that peeled after 3 days. One even sprang off completely, which I didn’t even know was possible.
They offered a re-do (for free) and though it was less lumpy, it wasn’t very neat and lifted after 5 days.
No refund policy means I’m just left frustrated and out of pocket with colleagues twice commenting on my mediocre nails.

Nice interiors and lovely staff but not worth the risk.
First manicure - thick and wasn’t even dry on leaving. One literally pinged off a few days later.
Second manicure (for free) - finish poor and peeled after a few days.
No refund policy means you’re just left frustrated.
Also, customer service do help but they veer on the side of defensive. (Blaming customers nails. I’ve had shellac loads of times elsewhere.)

Had a stark naked manicure - no polish, just file/buff/cuticles/shine... You'd think it would be simple to get right but unfortunately was left with nails feeling worse than when I came in.

The manicurist (Ina) attempted to skip the filing and buffing steps and I had to question why, at which point she did them but this was after having done the shine step, so in the wrong order. This left my nails gritty/rough which she tried to hide with a layer of nail oil. Within 5min out of the salon the oils had dried and revealed the roughness of my nails. I wrote in to complain and in fairness was offered a free treatment at another branch but it's not worth going out of my way even if it's for free. Don't waste your money here.

Pedicure did not start with a foot soak, which to me is very strange. If the skin is not soft it can be hard to properly cut cuticles and can be painful at times. I was also up-charged for removal for gel polish (which is standard) but an extra 16 pounds because 'the polish was not their brand'? That is steep. Overall, I found this salon extremely expensive for what you are getting. My manicure was 20 pounds for a cut, buff, and hand massage - no cuticle cutting even (that would be an extra 6 pounds). I could have done that at home - it doesn't even look like I got a manicure.

I came to this salon in front of the restaurant I work to get my nails done, without booking (maybe next time will be better to book first?) At the beginning they were saying they kind of couldn't do the treatment, fair enough, but Kristina offered to do it, also I find her rude scattering the equipment during all the treatment, no talking at all and almost upset? If she didn't want to do the job I could go somewhere else instead of having this behaviour in my face for 1 hour, also I wasn't in a good mood because I was tired after my shift of work, in summary: too expensive for what it is... Had a gel manicure for 42£ and After the treatment the girl made me 3 fingers bleeding saying my sking is too sensitive. No, actually she cut too much skin for my opinion, not perfect and messy job. I work in the kitchen and I wanted to do my nails before my holidays (also she mentioned couple of times my nails are too short even if I let them grow as much as I can to make this job done), next time I go somewhere else (normally for my toes I go to a girl that has a spot in a shop, please!!! better support local shops or small businesses! They work better!) or I do by myself if this is the quality of going to a salon.

Had a gel manicure last week, salon was covid secure, enjoyable atmosphere and we still got to enjoy a glass of fizz. Gels have held up well this last week but they did seem a bit rushed and most of my nails have minute bubbles on both hands (when they paint too quickly). Shame since otherwise was a good experience.
