American Top Nails

December 2020 The place has had a makeover, it has new comfy chairs, new "desks" where your nails are done, and they have screens for "covid 19" This year I had "snow flakes" added to my nails. I am very happy, staff are always nice, oh and they are NOT Chinese.

First time using this business as I normally go into Bedford but done a good job, I'm happy with my nails.
Only think I was a bit weary of is I asked how much acrylic with normal colour was and I was told £30 or £35 with gel... I then looked on the board and it was actually £25 for normal and £30 for gel so I wasn't sure if they tried pulling a sly one or whatever but other than that I can't complain. I will probably go there again.
Would be good if they did stamp cards like other places to collect and get discounts in future but their personal choice really.

Extremely upset with the value of these nails. They have a very limited choice of gel colours and was pushing myself to choose a colour and felt pressured. When I explained I didn’t like the colour, the woman suggested that I don’t get my nails painted, and being my own nail polish and still pay £25. When I explained I wasn’t happy with the end resulted, she still made me pay £30. Would never go again!!! Head over to Luxury nails. Best nails ever!!!

I found the nails stayed on much longer than other salons I've used. They don't talk much, but none off the Chinese bars are chatty. Price reasonable. Would recommend.

Got my nails done here, they were so rushed and uneven. I don't think most of the pictures they use on their social media are their pictures, as they have other people's credit written on them. I recommend going to luxury nails.

Decided to get my nails done as a treat…well the staff thought it would be ok to mock me and laugh at the length of my nails (quite short) and the colour! Saying I was boring having my nails done to look as natural as possible.. price is also different to stated! On the board states £27 but charged me £30
Decided to give them one last go and get infills ,sat with one man then half way through got told to move to another man!! Again was charged £20 for the job even though the board states £17 for infill…

Appalling service after took grandaughter to get nails done for holiday. . One nail fell off before home and no response to correspondence . Distinctly uninteresting when phoned them.

Had my nails done there once and will never go again. I had a guy doing my nails. I asked him to stop yanking my arms and just tell me when he wanted me to move a hand forward. He didn't listen and yanked my arm again which smudged a nail, he pointed at me and then the smudge and told me it was my fault. He spent the rest of the time tutting and huffing at me. He then left me sat at the UV light for ages until I had enough, checked the nails myself, paid and left. Horribly rude man.
