Lotus Nails Spa

I can’t deny lotus are good at what they do however saying that I’ve encountered some pretty rude behaviour recently. I’ve had eyes rolled at me along with huffing & puffing while I try to explain exactly what I want for my nails. They are also extremely bad when it comes to their booking system always over booking people which results in everyone having to wait which 5/10 minutes wouldn’t be a problem but today I waited 45 minutes to be seen to , a few girls there had also had bookings while being asked their names two members of staff rudely were saying they never booked them in pretty persistent on the fact they hadn’t spoken to these girls yet the girls pulled up phone logs to prove they had called in I’ve seen this happen plenty times. Pricing as well I understand a price increase with the way living costs have risen recently I can’t begin to imagine how much more they are paying to keep the shop going with bills but I’ve gone in for the same set of nails (infills french tips) each time they have cost me a different amount? I paid £35 one time and the following appointment was charging £48 for a pair of french tip infills?

Staff don’t really listen to what your requests are despite the service being expensive- I asked for some nail art that was displayed (gold ombré) and was told it was okay but this wasn’t the colour that was put on my nails. Instead they put on some weird ugly sparkly stuff and when I said I didn’t like it they were pretty rude. I ended up asking them to take it off completely because I hated them 😬 nail beds ruined for no reason

I’ve always love this place. I ha acrylics due to nail biting but I have them very very short. Maybe 2-3mm length and they have never made me feel bad for nut doing long nails or art. Can’t really understand all they are saying but I get what I want:)

my absolute favourite place ever to get my nails done, they are so professional every time i get my nails done they do it absolutely perfectly they always do what i ask for and do an absolutely amazing job at it too. the workers are so nice and polite and always make sure im satisfied with my treatment!

Would never use again. Just got absolutely scammed. I asked before my treatment how much a gel polish was. They told me £28. After my gel polish I went to pay and they insisted they'd told me it was £38. Absolutely disgusting. Will definitely not use them again.
How do they get away with it

Never again, rude, very poor communication, had to ask a custmer to translate what was being said to me as i have poor hearing, but ended up feeling there frustration more then mine, that forced me to ask the custmers and for advice because it was given , I just felt pressured, then i was pulled about like a naughty girl after thanking the customer's for helping me, but dont dare speak with another custmer, or anyone, the other girl had her finger cut for speaking, then they spoke amoungst them self's in there language and had a good laugh, when i asked them to translate what they just said there body languages of these 3 boys went very quiet.
I got dropped off to this salon in my sandals, purposely warn because of having my toe nails painted too, after being pulled about having my gel nails done, he pulls out some crusty, broken, dirty gloves to work on my clean feet! If he thought they was dirty why not use new gloves? Rather then put menin a position I shouldn't have to be In.
I had just bathed before getting dropped off there in my sandals , but felt modified from start to finish and that he touched my feet with those, dirty broken, meant to be white gloves but was brown through piled on germ infested gloves, for the price you are paying and for that experience, £58!! I had gel nails and painted toes nails, but gave myself no time to walk out or I would of refused him touching my feet with them gloves after being pulled about, hurt and spoken about and felt laughed at. What a traumatising experience, to then find out, i couldn't pay by card and had to go to a cash machine and go back in after that experience! Very poor communications from start to finish as I look at my crooked sore nails.

Update * 2 months later, my big toe nails, still have a sore reminder of being cut with a round circular bland on each big toe nail that day. I felt the pain at the time in the shop, prior to me questioning him why that tool, as i knew my toes nails are in very good condition and regularly pedicured. Fair enough accidents can happen but these two accidents lines across my big toes are nearly identical and a sore reminder or that day never to be repeated.

I Had a good time here. Nice staff, very professional and I love the massage chair. Will be back definitely!
