American Best Nails

Nice establishment and layout, I've known owner/management for many years from London to Cardiff. This is the 1st time that I've been this dissatisfied. I had to keep requesting for nails to be fixed the way I know she's capable of doing and the way I like. Which is sad, very sad. 😢 I had full set American gel, shellac on hands and full pedicure with shellac. She wasn't optimistic about me having gems on nails and stated; "they're going to come off!" Not much glue was used when applying the gems, she didn't file where the gems were being applied consider utilising gel when applying the gems or apply a coating of bonding varnish over the top of my nails. The water in foot spa was hot, the remote wasn't handed to me so that I could adjust settings nor was I asked what I would like the setting on. I was happy to have a back massage though just what I needed just wish I'd have had opportunity to raise massage to my neck also as I'm disabled. There was care placed in the foot massage by hand however, but for £80.00 I'd expect more enquiry into my happiness. I had an ombré toe, that didn't leave me very pleased, as I had to keep asking for it to be corrected. I'm quite disappointed as when I saw the reviews I was sure this couldn't be true! However I now understand the reasoning behind their overall ⭐️ star rating, such a shame as I know how lovely my experience used to be.

AVIOD!! Terrible customer service , rude , non compliment and cheeky! My nails were wonky and the shapping was way off, to top it all off they have very limited choice of actual "nail polish" which forced me to go with the gel options. I was informed by the lady after my nails had been done that they do not accept card which I had no knowledge of , I offered to leave my bag and mobile in the shop whilst I got cash back from the shop closest to the salon , the women "that goes by the name of sally" ran after when I went to retrieve the money me causing a massive scene in the shop I went to get cash back from. Police were called for her disruptive behaviour and I'm waiting on further notice. To top it off my nails fell off within the first week and my own nails and I'm terrible condition. I thought I'd also add how they refused to give the women next to me a foot pedicure as they "couldn't stand to look at her feet". Vile nasty business

I found this place after my usual nail salon closed down, to be honest I find this salon a bit hit and miss depending on who does your nails. I've had misshapen nails and times when the acrylic has cracked and fallen off leaving my own nail exposed. They've given the salon a bit of a facelift over recent months and put their prices up.

I went there do my nails i did like it but not last me not even a week after couple days started coming never again going in there and i dont reccommend to my friends and family

As a first time getting may nails done I can't recommend them enough! They knew exactly what I wanted and it was suck a pleasant atmosphere!

MUST AVOID!!! Instead of giving acrylics like I asked they gave GLUE ON NAILS!! They did not listen to a word I said! My daughter also got hers done, ugly and misshaped and also managed to get nail polish on the skin around her nails! Very rude customer service and not a pleasant place to be at. I tried ringing up several times and no answer, won't be going again!!!! Just to note both of these nails were 30 pound each, So I had to pay 60 pounds for these horrible nails!

do not go here! They charged me £100 for myself and my daughter. 2 sets of acrylic nails. they said becouse we asked for long nails is cost extra! The nails were worst i have ever seen! i was so upset after leaving as my daughter cryed she wanted them off!
