Hollywood Nails

Pretty terrible experience. The middle aged guy didn’t seem to know how to communicate or do the job properly and only spent less than 15 minutes whereas his coworkers spent more time and care on their customers. Instead of asking me to place my hands, he would drag them without saying anything. The finished result of the nails was also very poor. The filing was uneven, the gel was bulkier in certain areas, and was applied on parts of the finger and not the nail. They said they didn’t accept card payments and asked for cash only, then asked to leave a valuable item in the store while collecting cash.

I really wanted to give this place a chance but unfortunately I won’t be going back after using them for over 6 months. The service you get is hit or miss. There were times when I loved my nails (hence 3 stars) and there were times when I really didn’t. If you’re unhappy with your nails, they simply aren’t willing to rectify it.They just look at you like it’s your fault. If you go back after a couple of days with a chipped nail which is probably their fault, they expect you to pay to fix the repair. The customer service is the main issue here. The staff are friendly until you complain about something then they have a whole new attitude and will not offer a resolution. You can get nice nails from this shop, but it’ll all depend on who does them I suppose and be ready to be ignored and mocked if you’re not happy with their service. They’ve lost a customer in me even though I was a regular. I only ever did the same type of nails every time so you would think there would be some consistency but that wasn’t my experience at all!

Pros: very affordable Shellac, staff make the effort to fit you in last minute, are friendly enough, and the man I had did a nice job with my nails and I left very happy

Cons: fumes in the shop are very overpowering which made me concerned for the staff. There's an obvious language barrier which wasn't an issue for me but might not be great if you like to have a chat when you get your nails done.

Just had the spa pedicure as an anniversary present. OMG I feel as if I'm walking on air! Absolutely fantastic 👣

Pretty terrible experience.I really wanted to give this place a chance but unfortunately I won’t be going back. Staff is too rude. They say we do what customers ask but when asked about several options of nail art they said we dont do it. Very bad customer service. No point of going. Trust the reviews.

I am a regular customer, but wasn’t happy with the service I received last time I went there. I had a design on my nail and a bit of paint must’ve smugged off the males hand onto my nail. After he put it under the light I noticed it and told him about it.
His reply was it’s too late as it’s already dry and he couldn’t fix it.

After having my nails and toes done paying £85 for the service I would’ve expected a little bit better for his reply.

Think it’s time to try a different nail shop.

First time at this venue and what a lovely experience- had a pedicure by Kim who went over and aboard to make the experience a wonderful one.

I will never use this place again which is a shame as I am a regular customer, wasted hours of my time sitting around to be seen too, what’s the point of having an appointment if you're still having to wait ages until you’re seen too like you have nothing else better to do, so unprofessional and 0 communication! Left feeling so angry!
