Hellen Nails

Absolutely devestated leaving here today... I arrived with my children, understanding it would be busy.. Once my turn come along, I found myself being completely and utterly humiliated in a very busy shop. Being shouted at and degraded infront of not only strangers but my children! I explained the shape I have, which appeared to anger the man as did me requesting gel not acrylic. I ended up leaving with less than half a job actually done yet being charged for it!!!!!! Surely this is not acceptable.

Awful experience. My partner went in to enquire about having her nails done. The man working there was very offhand and rude. Told her she would just have to sit down and wait.
Did not even lower his mask when speaking to her. I understand the need to wear a mask to help against toxic fumes when he is working however perhaps customers should be given masks on the way in to help against his toxic attitude. Needless to say she is not going back.

I have been going here for years, since they first opened in the market and then moved to the shop. They are all fantastic and the language barrier is not bad at all, they always aim to please. Thank you Hellen and Team

Phoned to ask if they were busy she said no I went in the shop was full she smirked when I asked why did she lie I was so shocked at her unprofessional and rude behaviour I won't go here again I was so shocked she blatantly lied and I had paid for the car park not so much as a sorry or any civil behaviour from them so incredibly wrong and rude of her the lady owner is so so rude she laughed at the fact she lied really unbelievable 1 lost customer.

Asked for hel extentions, paid for gel extentions, was given acrylics thatsome were too wide for my nails. Not going again.

Phoned in the week to book an appointment on Saturday. I was told to just turn up. I went in today and waited nearly 2 hours, for the first hourci had to sit on a tiny chair they use for doing pedicures.
There were still two ahead of me and I had only parked for 2 hours so I left. Will not be returning, no-one spoke to me or apologised for the wait.

This is the place I always go to when I am in Bridgend to get my hands and feet done. Lovely people and always do my nails the way I like them and if ever I do have a problem which is rare I go back and see them and they resolved the issue.

Since writting this review I have been back recently and although I do have real nails they do arcrylics , the service and standards are still high . It is a walk in service , no appointments , prices very reasonable.

First at all you can’t pay by card, they take cash only. No one care about a good manicure there.
