Beautiful! The way we went was a bit steep up and back down, especially the up! Beautiful views from the top. Don't miss the Ostriches in the field opposite the carpark!

It's a really lovely little woodland. There is a tiny carpark for about three to four cars off the main road in Repton and further parking to the side of the woodland. When you start your walk from the main road you'll first come to a stream, my doggies love water so this was a great bonus. Then the pathway splits into three. Straight on and to the right takes you to the woodland. This is fenced off with hedging and wire about 90% of the edge which is great if you got wondering doggies. We did not see any livestock once you pass the crossroads but I'd keep the doggies on the lead up until that point as to the left there is a farming land with farm animals. As it's small woodland won't take you long to walk the parameter and get a feel for it and then you can walk all the little trails in between :). We will definitely be visiting again.

Its ok but underwhelmed and no sign of the animals in the pictures and could do with some actual sign posting

Pretty walk. Short so best coupled with a walk south along the lane and bridleway to the forest plantation further on

This is a lovely walk in nature. Beautiful scenery and not too busy when we went. Very peaceful. It was nice to walk past all the sheep - they were curious and very friendly!

Accessibility: In my opinion, this walk is not accessible for those with wheelchairs or pushchairs. Ambulatory disabled people or the elderly may require significant assistance.
