HIC BIBI NATURE RESERVE

Great place for a walk lots of wildlife. Not well used very few people know it even exists

Hic-Biby Nature Reserve was once a brickworks, where i spent the first working day of my life as an apprentice electrician, 77years ago. All I can say is, I think I prefer it as it is now. G F .

It was a cold blustery day, the trees were bare and the ponds were frozen over. Unfortunately we didn't see any birds or wildlife, but then given the weather conditions I was not surprised, nonetheless my wife and I did enjoy the walk here and it was good to get out in the brisk fresh air. It's not a huge place, you can probably easily walk around in under one hour and I think it will be nice to come back here in the spring time. There didn't seem to be any parking facilities, we parked on the main road and there are no toilets or cafe here, but I believe it is still a favourite for young families and dog walkers.

It was pouring with rain when me and my dog had a lovely walk around here the other day.
It's a place that it doesn't matter whether it's sunny or raining to take in the wonderful atmosphere.
