Alpine Meadow, Berkhamsted

Little oasis of grass, trees, wild flowers and quiet, a long way from any road

Great when the sun is out and no one else about! A right sun trap! Rare to see any of the wildlife (snakes, lizards) unless you know when and where to look.

This is a very beautiful spot right off the beaten track, full of wildlife and very quiet.

Well, it saved a trip to the Alps. There were deer grazing in the field.

Beautiful, peaceful little place to sit and enjoy nature - hear the birds and deer in the surrounding woodland, or the mice in the undergrowth. On a sunny day, you may even be lucky enough to spot a lizard or two sunbathing on the logs.

Beautiful little quiet spot nestled into a fold of land. You can walk thru it in just 2mins or stop n chill out.
But shhhusssshhhhh, don't tell everyone about it!
