A great place to be one with nature and be able to have a pub lunch as well, with free parking and lovely views all around.

Enjoyable walk around this reserve. Saw a few of herons, plus a kestrel. There are just a couple of key viewpoints. It may be even more interesting when we're not in a drought ... It was fairly dry when we visited.

Not impressed with the walk on the footpath, overgrown with nettle and brambles and unsuitable for either wheelchairs or pushchairs. It's also a mile walk to get to any sort of viewing area so for anyone with a minor disability such as arthritis, will struggle to make it there and back. Love the area but come on RSPB where's the up keep?

Great for an approximate 30 min stroll to Turf Locks

Good dog walk off the lead to Turf hotel.
Free car park just over the railway line by Swans nest pub.
Adventure wildlife area half way with picnic tables.
Just before Turf there is a field which might have friendly cows.
Walk one way is 30 minutes max
