This place is amazing! We were only here for an hour and a half and we saw a huge herd of Fallow deer, I think a Roe deer, lots of Red kites one right above us and a Pereguine Falcon. It was lovely hearing woodpeckers and lots of other birds. There weren't many people it was really peaceful with easy to follow paths I wish it was a bit nearer to home for us.

A lovely piece of British countryside but depends if you have a dog or not. Along with the many varieties of birds in this low-level heathland there are lots of deer including the rarer albino types.

If you have a dog then rapidly becoming very anti-dog with lots of passive agressive signage rather than just coming out and making a clear statement of the true intentions i.e. dogs not really welcomed.

A great place to explore as there are lots of paths crisscrossing the area as used by the locals for decades, if not longer, although signage implies (incorrectly) that just the perimiter track should be used. Gets very muddy after any rain so wear wellies or boots. When combined with the nonRSPB area of the Heath it is possible to easily walk for a few hours.

It is possible to join with Warren Heath but that entails a walk along Plough Lane for a mile or so or alternatively via Hartley Wintney village.

This is an amazing small RSPB reserve. In just a couple of hours we saw herds of deer, a peregrine falcon, red kites and many more small birds. It is definitely worth a visit.

Wonderful nature reserve, always see the resident deer & often other lovely wildlife. Can get very muddy in wet weather

We joined a guided night walk. It was exceptional. The guides were very knowledgeable and friendly, but also accommodating we had three children (our grandchildren). The equipment used allowed us to hear bats and crickets - high frequency sound, and night vision.

I had a shocking experience I heard gun shots and found out their was a rifleman shooting deer on hazeley heath I was disappointed that the RSPB didn’t inform anyone that they would be culling deer on hazeley heath the only reason I found out was when the police turned up and informed me of the cull

I would expect next time the RSPB should inform residents when the rifleman is next on the heath

Lovely walk in nature. Took the dog, but with all of the deer he spent some time on the lead (which is fine, as it's their home, we're just visiting).
Parked in the village car park in Hartley Wintney (paid) but the Hart DC website says there is some free parking in a layby.
There are paths, but in some places it was very wet/muddy, so appropriate footwear is essential.
Will definitely go back.

Honestly one of the best nature walks I’ve had and I’ve toured Scotland! I never expected to see so much wildlife and to have such amazing views so close to home.
I would highly recommend!
(But please keep your dog on a lead)
