Nice, flat walk. Buggy friendly and free parking. Distance around is just under 1mile. Ideal for a gentle jog, walk, fishing, plenty of benches around the water. Small space near the car park for a picnic with area to feed the ducks and birds

Nice little picnic spot and a good place to feed the ducks. The path around the nature reserve is very well maintained from what I saw with some of it being elevated concrete pathways so ideal for wheelchair users. The only negative was the height limit barrier with no marked height however it's about 2m high which was no problem for my 4x4

Beautiful little walk around the water, nice paths for walking and double pushchairs. Lots of benches to sit on. Recommend

A lovely nature reserve although sadly covered in too much dog poo along the paths to warrant five stars.

A quick walk around the water followed by a loop around the churchyard and a similar offshoot along the road before returning to the car park.

The plaques telling the history of the area were superbly written and well illustrated. Definitely work a look.

Oh what a beautiful piece of planet Earth this is 🥰 When you arrive you'll enter the small carpark which is free and from there pick your trail. It's a small nature reserve, you can walk around the lake in about 30-45min, medium speed but it is breathtaking. There is diverse wildlife mainly birds so perfect for bird watching. The surrounding areas are pastures with horses, so please be mindful and keep your doggie under close control at all times. Around the lake there are lots of benches to sit and admire the few as well as few picnic tables.

Such a lovely little walk with lots of nature and beautiful scenery. Not a long walk but perfect for people with kids and its pram friendly with lots of benches so you can stop and take in the view. Always clean and tidy and the car park usually has plenty of spaces too.

This is a great place for a short walk, very flat and a good surface under foot all the way round. Very popular with anglers, lots of wildlife.
