If someone needs contact with nature that's the best place to rest it...

Took the dog and baby for a Sunday morning stroll. We did the long loop, took maybe 40 mins at a gentle stroll. Lots of exciting trails for the dog to investigate, she loved it. A nice walk, some parts very steep, which was fine for us but could be more of an issue for anyone with limited mobility

Well managed, small wooded area with a green and play ground. Also has hard court area for baseball/ football. Lots of dog walkers and families alike. Gets busy in summer - local users mainly. Very little space to park. If mobile and searching places to walk try Riddlesdown across the valley. This wood and recreation area is not really for rambling as quite small. Nice views and worth a look all the same.

Really pretty small woods, great for children with plenty of seeting and picnic tables

Update - been cleaned up and on a sunny day is better than I reviewed. Walk lengthways from east west and it's a lovely walk with lots of birds. Ignore my sniffy review below!

Feels a bit run down and a bit dull. Big walk uphill to get to the top and not worth the hike. Go a further 10 minutes to Banstead Woods or Farthing Downs.

Beautiful natural setting in the heart of Purley. I great place to wonder with your children or dogs.

Lovely peaceful woodland, lots of dog walkers, sheep and foxes. Higher drive playground is nearby.

A beautiful nature sanctuary... but a shame that we need to litter pick each time we visit...why are people so ridiculous that they want to spoil such special places??
