Lovely park with horses, a moated manor and well-maintained paths! Great for a morning run or an afternoon stroll. Though, you may find big dogs without a lead, and areas that are overgrown in a few places.

Great place for a picnic and stay cool when its hot! Also has QR code on the trial letting you know about some of the plants in the woods as well as a monitoring point to see changes in the wood over years. Has car parking space as well.

Unfortunately we went here on a day it was raining, so we didn't get far as my pup refused to walk.
However, we are most definitely going back. There is a veteran and ancient tree trail. Which should be admired by everyone, I wish those trees could talk, imagine what they have witnessed in their long lives.
There is also a moated manner house where a local archaeology group conduct digs.
Beautiful place.

Our dogs love walking here. Both open areas and wooded areas, so lots of space to run and sniff. Nice picnic area, but would be nicer if there was a little tea wagon/house too. We remember to take water and treats for the dogs, but always forget a flask and snacks for ourselves.

Absolutely beautiful nature reserve that offers something new with every visit. The Bear nature trail is just delightful and a lovely way to explore the forest. The Moated Manor is also a lovely point of interest. The Acorn trail offers stunning vistas....look across for horses and rolling hills, look down for incredible parasol mushrooms, acorns and lakes and look up at the towering and magnificent trees.

This is an area that is well loved and looked after and it is the ideal place to meander, explore and soak in the nature that is so good for our souls. Fully recommend.

Wicked place to walk the dog, will go again when it’s not pouring down with rain but enjoyed finding all the bears (needed more bears)

I visited here in May 2022 as part of walking the London Loop route around London. This is a large area of countryside to explore, but some of it can be hard to navigate.

Brilliant nature reserve and walking trails with a picnic area. Signs are simple to follow. Limited spaces in the car park but side street is free to park.
