Rare, open, gentle, east access to heathland, gorse, birch and bracken. A lovely spot.

Fairly pleasant area to walk, not as big as I thought it would be

Nice for dog walking or just a wander about. Plenty of parking. Nice to see the different landscape from other nearby woodland walks.

Great place for a walk. With the mixture of heath and woodland the scenery changes beautifully with the seasons. Great view of the South Downs and then Ashdown Forest to the north.

Great for a dog walk, can do 2-3 miles without returning to places you’ve passed already. Thera are actually 4 commons next to each other, a full round walk is about 5 - 6 miles. And it’s never too busy, good for a shy dog. A few free parking lots are around too.

It's a great place to walk, open landscape, moss under foot and chilly winds to embrace.

Lovely bit of thought land with streams, woodland, heath. Not huge, and surrounded by roads, but fantastic range of minor features and different habitat types, etc. Feels quite wild and exciting. Free roaming cattle.
