Beautiful, remote yet in London, horses, wildlife, dirt tracks, birds, woodland, hills, marshes, water, canals/rivers. Great for runs and walks. Friendly people around too.

I'd give it 5stars But it's a little(ALOT) isolated, there's no officials in the area. I wouldn't suggest women go there alone as usually very quiet. Great photo opps and lots of interesting species can be seen. A real jewel in Thamesmead's Crown! Also it's only a short distance to the river walk along the Thames. Not very suitable for wheelchairs or scooters that struggle with lumpy ground.

Very nice place to visit. If you enjoy the green chain walk I would suggest to take a look. Plenty of birds can be also observed. The terrain is easy but sometimes can be very muddy.

It is a semi nice place to visit, not much of a path for visitors and the signage is very poorly designed. We got lost twice before actually finding the correct river path. There are other nature reserves much better than this one. It also felt very isolated and lonely there until we got to the river path, so quite dangerous for young women to visit. Personally I would not recommend it.

Been twice and both times can't see how you get in! Waste of time if it becomes hard work. Directions tab takes you to a main road. Can some one update it so we can actually get to the entrance ( a safe to walk and park one)!

Lots of birds to watch, also contains a members only bird viewing hut.
