Hazelslade Nature Local Nature Reserve

This is one of my favorite place's to go, wind down, relax and take my dogs and granddaughter for a lovely walk around the fishing pools and feed the duck's

A lovely, quiet place to spend an hour. Beautiful scenery and plenty of bird life. The only negative is that it is need of attention in places with damaged walkways, bridges etc.

Nice open dog walking area. Lake and fishermen.
Good in hot weather like July 2022.

I use this Nature Reserve most days for dog walking. I have been a regular visitor for over 10-years and in my opinion is one of the nicest reserves in the district. Well kept and meticulously maintained. An easy 4 stars.

Hidden jem , beautiful lake meadows and woodlands.

A very pleasant place. Parked the car off the main road on a pull in. Very muddy but that's to be expected. Very quiet considering where it's located.

Lovely walk around the pool, kids love it here, nice place to let off steam and enjoy nature ❤
