This place is beautiful, we have just recently moved up to Bath so have been checking out some nice walking spots!
This woodland has walking trails and information boards about the buildings/wildlife in the reserve.

Great for a short walk or a longer one to the top of the hill. Good for dog walking or sightseeing as there's a bat cottage and some old structures around the water parts.

Just a beautiful walk. Only takes a couple of hours but such a lovely area. Parking can be a bit tight on a weekend though.

A lovely short round trip, lot of wild flowers to see throughout including bluebells and the glorious smell of ramson. Small streams to paddle in during the midday sun and old building remains of a old watermill. Part of the walk has been closed off recently due to ash die back, but still plenty to see!

Beautiful walk with the kids/dogs. Small circle route is suitable for a pram which is about a 25 min walk , can walk up to 1.5hrs without the pram, beautiful streams, woodland, clean place but no where to put dog mess so prepare to carry it

Lovely, hidden spot. Woodlands and waterfalls, what more could you want.
Seems very dog and child friendly, but you can easily find a quiet patch for some relaxation.
I'll be visiting again! 🌲

Fabulous reserve. I went to a moth trap session and observed some beautiful creatures. Love the resident sheep too.

Lovely countryside walk, although the nature reserve itself is currently closed due to Ash Dieback (Jan '22), but there is a detour through woodland that's very nice, if a little steep and slippery in places
