Lake in the middle of town. Wildlife reservation with trees, birds and other animals. Calm and serene atmosphere for your relaxation. No fishing allowed. Easy to get to. It is free to access.

Very tranquil, lots of interesting bird calls. Super popular for dog walking, bring a lead and poo bags!

This is one of my favourite nature reserves in Nottingham.

It is absolutely lovely all year 'round. It's particularly beautiful after a heavy snow or on a warm sunny day.

It's home to a vast amount of species of birds, fungi, mammals and amphibians. It's also littered with numerous species of plants and trees.

To the west lies Martins pond, with a gentle stream running through Harrisons plantation to Raleigh pond in the east.

Perfect for a light morning or afternoon walk with opportunities to feed the ducks and other birds around the ponds and woodland.

You will often see birds building nests in the spring time. The Robins are very friendly at this location and will likely fly to your hand if you have some seeds or suet to feed.

A fantastic place to unwind and relax as you take in some of Nottinghams finest natural beauty.
