Duncryne Dumpling Trail

Short, steep, but easy enough trail to the top for a stunning view. Many thanks to the owner of this private land for allowing us to enjoy it!

A sea of bluebells and mixed woodland, 10 mins to the top, a decent path and extremely rewarding view. Highly recommended!

Good path, great view. 15 minute climb with my little one in tow.

A short trail leading up onto a hill with stunning views of the surrounding area. There is parking in a layby next to the road with limited spaces. Hiking boots are a must.

Easy trek up to the top of the hill. It is slightly steep in some places. Amazing views of Loch Lomond. Well worth the stop if you’re passing through to or from Glasgow.

Best views you get of Loch Lomond with a short easy hike! Sunset views are amazing.
Edit: The start of the path has been done up meaning it is no longer a swamp at the start.

Quick steep walk. Worth it. 30 mins and relax at top

Last time we were here, the initial section of path was a muddy quagmire, but I was pleased to find this morning that it has been surfaced and drainage added, for a far more pleasant walking experience.

The climb itself takes less than 10 minutes. Unfortunately, the famous view (the whole point of climbing the hill) is obscured by bushes, which need cutting back.
