What a stunning and special place to visit the house is amazing... ended up here on our circular walk for tea and cake... Fantastic treat and such a knowledgeable host. We will definitely be back to explore further.

This is run by a charity. The building is fascinating and has an interesting history. The garden is not worth a visit on its own but if you like walking in the woods then it is lovely. Some of the tracks are overgrown and have nettles and thorns in close proximity so a strong stick is a must to beat a clear trail. Not suitable for wheelchairs or disabled. Stout footwear needed and shorts not recommended.

I didn't go to the house but parked up in a small parking area on the passway where there's a few hiking/walking routes. Such a beautiful area that offers peace and quiet! We had a little picnic with my 16 month old granddaughter who loved listening to the birds and enjoyed our walk about. Definitely not wheelchair or buggy friendly but if your steady on a walking stick then I think it would be okay...no one says you have to hike to the top, just enjoy a walk as far as you can then head back.
Back carriers for little ones would be ideal as well.
