Conwy is an absolutely incredible reserve. We saw all sorts of birds from Egrets, Geese, Ducks, Swallows and even Robins, where one sat on my hand to eat. So adorable. There were ponies all over that were beautiful too. There is just too many to name. The walk round is great as its in about a two mile circle. If it has rained can be a little muddy though. Nearer to the centre the paths are better and disabled/wheelchair friendly so you can see the smaller birds and a couple of the hides. The hides are dotted all the way around the walk and great to observe the birds. There is a large car park, disabled friendly. Closes at 5pm With a lovely cafe that serves hot food, teas and coffees. There are loos that were very clean. Also a wonderful shop that had some lovely gifts as well as useful books and bird accessories. The staff are so friendly and helpful. That will answer all your questions and help guide you. They have all the knowledge and were just so kind. We loved our day here and will be going back.

RSPB Conwy is a fabulously landscaped area which was created from earth and stones dug out from the creation of the tunnel under the river, and turned into this nature reserve. The landscaping in beautiful, with a central lake area and various hides and viewing areas around the trails, most of which are level gravel paths and are easily accessible. Further work to enhance the site is also planned for the future. There are toilets on site, food and a shop.

Free entry for RSPB members. Lots of hides. Cafe and toilets. Free grazing ponies and bee orchids when we visited and some very tame robins looking for an easy lunch.

Beautiful nature reserve, great walk and beautiful views. Visited this place several times over the years and I'm sure we will be back again soon.

Beautiful nature reserve and walking trail. My kids really enjoy it. There are birds ducks and ponies. Friendly staff. I would to bring binoculars. We got family ticket, just costs us £15 (2 adults + 3 kids).

Being renovated and landscaping, means a few occasional disturbances, but the wild life is still there and a great sanctuary.

A small nature reserve but lots of interesting birds to watch from the hides. Seeing around 50 Little Egrets made the visit worthwhile. Friendly staff. Freshly made sandwiches and coffee from a well stocked trailer at very reasonable prices. I believe the cafe itself was undergoing refurbishment when we visited in September 2022

Visited here and did the 2 mile walk round the reserve, as well as stopping off at a few of the hides. A lot of different varieties of birds to see and very pleasant and knowledgable staff. Also called into the Cafe for some ice lollies that were very reasonably priced.
