Route around the reserve want clearly marked at all but nonetheless it was an interesting visit. There's a grassed parking space and a picnic bench.

Only stopped for a leg stretch on a homeward journey from West Wales, but will visit again. Quiet,
scenic location on the upper reaches of the river Severn with a variety of habitats.

Nice scenery and area however much improvement to this site is needed.

The circular walk on the map can not be completed due to the deteriorating sign posting and lack of direction left us wondering all over the place. You can see new styles have been installed but the way markings haven’t been installed properly. We eventually hit a dead end and decided it was best to retire the walk and head back the way we entered.

The area is lovely and peaceful however and my rating is purely linked to the poor signposting.

There is a car park area however follow google maps as the brown nature reserve signs don’t fully direct you to the starting location. This walk is not accessible as there are a few styles to climb.

We spent around 45 minutes here. Nice but won’t be in a great rush to return.

We saw the sign on the main road and decided to take a look. After driving over a very narrow bridge we continued expecting to see another sign. After several miles around increasingly narrow lanes we were eventually able to access the directions on the website. The entrance was actually a few yards after the bridge but there was NO sign. After a further half a mile along a very uneven track we were finally directed into an opening of recently mown grass and a sign detailing the site. While this indicated a circular walk clearly marked by posts in the adjacent field we couldn’t see any. Obviously other people had more luck. This was a complete waste of time ( and fuel) for us.
