Absolutely divine. Nepalese food never lets you down. Definitely worth trying the Momo's

Delicious curry, best I have had in a long time. Service was excellent, prices were good and great value for money. An underrated gem!

We went to celebrate 36 years married and our Sons new job offer. Lovely atmosphere/ambience and the food was delicious. Highly recommend, not enough people know about this place.

If you have not eaten at this little gem then it is well worth the trip. I recommend the momo's, having had them elsewhere can say, how good they are. I had take out but the restraunt looked very nice and I would like to eat there.

We are staying in the Inn and had read the restaurant reviews so decided to eat at the Gurkha Bar & Restaurant. The service is friendly, the food delicious and the atmosphere was just wonderful. There is a dining room but also an area with sofas where there is a beautiful fire. There is one small table there where we sat and enjoyed Nepalese food for the first time! We started with Momos - which are steamed dumplings served with a delicious sauce. We also had Raja Rani Chicken and Nepalese Lamb - both 5 star! The Naan was just perfect! We are moving into the area soon and will be eating here quite often, I'm sure. The locals should definitely make their way down the high street and check it out. We will see you there!

Food was wonderful - the lamb I had was delicious, and the Nepalese element makes a nice point of difference compared to going for an Indian/Bangladeshi. Friendly service. Needs more custom and love from others
