Terrible staff, probably some of the rudest you will meet, pricey entry fee in which you pay for your bag and coat separately! ENJOY the old woman at the front, she loves a good argument. Dirty and grimy. Not recommended unless you are very desperate for some rock.

If rock now means expensive, dirty smelly premises which is loaded with rude, dirty, smelly and downright wierd people, this is the place for you.
It was a dump in the 90's and has gone downhill since.

After a gig at the engine shed was cancelled 2-3-2018 we went to sugar cubes.... amazing night! Staff were friendly and drinks were cheap and not watered down. Could always get to the bar. Ok don't expect a great paint job on the premises however 3.00 entrance was amazing for Lincoln. Fair amount of seats for a small place. Absolutely no trouble and didn't smell any weed. Allowed ecigs. Great music and was so nice watching folks enjoy the night. I'd go again.

It's sticky and disgusting, but if you like metal you really have no other choice in Lincoln.

Your only option is to just drink a gargantuan amount of whiskey so you won't notice the smell, the fact that you're drinking out of cups that are best suited to a kids party at a local village hall and that they have played the same songs, in the same order for the last 10 years (probably longer).

This is nostalgia for me as it reminds me of a place I grew up going in my younger years. You stick to the floor, it smells vile, dark, dingy, not a lot to offer in terms of alcohol and the toilets are awful. However if you appreciate rock/metal music then you will realise it's an awesome place with a close nit community.

Amazing place for a night out! The drinks are cheap, the music is great and the staff are awesome.

Its had a bit of a referb too! They were open as a bar due to the Corona Virus, using a booking system and seating arrangements which is very different to what we're used to in 'cubes, but it worked tremendously!

Staff and bouncers are so sound and the crowd is great! Best club in Lincoln.

Just a quick review praising your staff for last night. From the get go the staff were doing everything they could to make sure everyone was safe and have a good time. I was a bit apprehensive about coming out due to recent events with spiking but was very pleasantly surprised to see everyone being thoroughly checked and patted down on arrival and with dignity. Also to the bouncers who immediately took care of a situation as I mentioned it to them and removed the person in question. What a busy butt fantastic night myself and my group had. After nearly 2 years of not going out to clubs it was a fantastic return. Honestly thank you so much, I hope you pass this on to all members of staff. I can't wait to come back!
