Jax Nightclub Gloucester

Went on Saturday night at peak time for £10 entry. I've never been to a place quite like it. It wasn't bad because of the bar or the layout etc but the atmosphere was just terrible. Just imagine you're sat around the table giving scores in four in a bed or come dine with me, and bring that tense uncomfortable atmosphere to a dancefloor, but with unrecognisable music playing and the lights being slightly too bright. Definitely an older crowd of singles. There was no joy nor banter nor smiling on the dance floor, everyone looked ill-at-ease and self-conscious. Sadly, our entire group agreed that no-one has been on a worse night out, we lasted less than an hour, if this was a meal we'd have asked for our money back, and I'm normally all in for a cringey venue.

Pranj the Managing Director of Jax and his staff have been brilliant. I was not able to attend a Pride event due to covid and the team have kindly transferred my ticket for the next available event. I was gutted that I missed the last one and I am really excited to be attending the Sept event. Amazing service received from Pranj and the team, really friendly and quick responses. Look forward to the event in Sept!! 🌈🥰🍷

What an EPIC TIME!
Was dragged in by my friends to this place on a Pride event they had. I have to say what a great fun night it was. The staff were brilliant and the atmosphere was amazing. Even the picnic benches had cushions to sit on them , I know seems simple, but goes to show that the venue does care for customers , and no wonder as I found out from the bar staff that its an independent club , explains a lot and good to see business care about customers.
On a negative side, they dint have flavoured gin which I was disappointed about, but the manager promised me he will get it for next time..or else a I will get a free drink lol !

I have been to jaxs quite a few time and each and every time pranj and his staff have been amazing. I would highly recommend going there. I love the atmosphere and the music. Amie Gilby xx

Having an LGBTQIA night but yet the toilets are not, and I say not on for transgender people, no toilet roll, locks on the doors hardly work if there Is a lock and they are dirty.

Great venue caters for all types of music events great drinks promotions friendly staff safe place for a great night out highly recommended

Amazing venue, the wonderful team at Jax helped me create a truly wonderful event for charity! I would reccomend this venue as it really has something for everyone.
