The Globe

Been here a couple of times. Nice place, nice people and friendly door staff as well as bar staff. Can be a bit 'intimate' as the space isn't too big, but for me, that's a plus. Lots of French and Belgian clientele, not sure why but that's always a plus (might be biased because I speak the language ;)
The owner is always around too very friendly guy. I would just advise people to come prepared with ID and also some change as you will need to leave your jackets etc in the cloakroom.

The bouncers and dj at this venue were both great, however the manager Eddy was very rude to both me and my friends clearly caring a lot more about getting with girls (also customers of the venue) then not being upright rude!! Would not recommend due to his behaviour putting me off over coming here again

I rarely leave reviews, but felt complied to as I was physically harassed by the bar staff... I was essentially in the toilet about to do my business when the barman barged in and forced me leave physically....when I later went and asked the barman why he had done so, he put his arms around my neck... I truly believe if I were of a different size, gender, race or age this would not have happened. His reason was that he needed to go since he had priority since he had to work the bar... Get a staff bathroom please if they can't wait and teach your staff to not put their arm around anyones neck...

I am very disappointed with my experience tonight. I got ushered away by the very rude and unaccommodating bouncer, who escorted me out of the street for no reason. Please do not act like you own talbot road, and that you have the right to escort me down a public street. So to usher me out of the road is entirely inappropriate and very disheartening. I will not be returning to this club.

Really fun inside but the bouncers have

my friends up the street for about 4
yards to tell us to stop talking while we
were waiting for an Uber. All of us were
sober and speaking quietly, he then
continued to harass us after we'd turned
the corner and made it clear that we'd
left the area. Don't go to this club unless
you like being squashed in like a
sardines and waiting for 40 mins for a
cigarette only to be told off and
threatened to be kicked out because
you're chatting to your friends

NEVER AGAIN

-Drinks are over priced
-Speakers are rubbish with p*ss poor sound quality
-Venue is no bigger than your average living room
-Tables are bolted down and too close to the chairs, good luck if you're over 6ft
-DJ is some sort of bi-polar with the music he plays.
-Staff are rude but outside security are funny.
-Ive said it once and I'll say it again, R&B clubs are fight waiting to happen, battle of the egos.
-Ratio is soo bad that you can see an actual ring of guys surrounding the girls. I was mortified for them.
Only popped in because my friend lives next door and trust me.
NEVER AGAIN

absolutely awful, couple of my friends have got spiked in the globe, security does nothing, kicked us out of the club onto the street, we asked for water a few times and they said no whilst my friend is uncontrollably throwing up. To any girls do not go there please.
