Pure

There is nothing 'premiere' nor 'Pure' about this cheap venue that is trying to imitate the class of a London venue. We were celebrating a Birthday (30+), had a table booked all names were provided. We reached the entrance to find a couple of unapproachable bouncers who demanded to see our ID's, we did as demanded. One bouncer had never come across suede boots, he thought they were trainers, yeah I thought it was a joke too. After a lengthy debate we were told that they would let us in- 'only this time'. We found the funny side as this venue was below the standards of what we are familiar with in London. We enter to have our ID's checked again, however our bags were not checked (apparently its all about the shoes) as long as your shoes are made from leather you can go in with a bottle of vodka in your bag- or even a lethal weapon- you'll get in fine. Staff were ok- they seemed as if they didn't want to be there and I don't blame them, the music was mediocre. The smoke was unnecessary but I guess it is a good way to hide the venues imperfections. The smoking area was reasonably clean, guess some of the clientele failed to see the ash trays on display and decided to ash on the seats. The best part of the venue was the bubbly attendant in the ladies- she deserved a £5 tip, she should give the staff a lesson on providing good customer service. The small mentality and staff (bouncers) attitude is a great disappointment. Overall impression- avoid, don't waste your money.

Booked two tables here for a 21st birthday. Turned up and is 21 and over for boys (not girls) although it has no word of this online or on Facebook. Security guard was very nice about it however did ruin a 21st birthday, hopefully we get back the deposit.

Was refused entry for wearing 'sportswear' yet i was only wearing plimsoles and i could see that both staff AND customers were wearing trainers. I had even checked the website beforehand and nowhere did it say about a dress code. I won't bother to go here again! Waste of time...

Tonight I went to pure with two of my friends and one of them had her watch undone 4 times!!! When this was reported to security they didn’t really do much and left us to resolve the problem, we zipped up our watches in our bags, reported the problem and attempted to have a good time still. This didn’t work out when’s the friends of the watch thief approached us and security yet again did nothing despite the discussion getting heated. Overall I didn’t feel safe and nearly lost my watch with no help from security! The only useful thing security did was tell us they had other reports of watches that were nearly stolen!

Would not recommend this place to anyone! It’s not safe and no one is around to help if you really do need it! Avoid, Avoid, Avoid!!

They wouldn’t allow a group of 6 in but VIP Tables are a group of 10, the bouncers was absolutely disgusting and was letting other groups in more than 6, came about 45 minutes way to get in this club to be turned down by three big blotchy dumpling virgins, their other half’s definitely peg there little poopa shoots, owners of pure are backwards as their mothers

This place was a waste of time, the dj is so rubbish and played such boring songs. The atmosphere was bland and the staff clueless. Drinks very watered down and serving 0% beer without telling people.

Rude staff and their dress code is ridiculous. Drinks are music are so bad. Please don't waste your time on this nightclub.

Don’t waste your time here, security guards are very rude & cocktails are terrible. There is another club close by called as Arcadia bar. Better to go Arcadia if you want a proper night out.
