Visited from London last Saturday. Highly recommended. Friendly staff.

First ever visit and with different music on different floors (and a few beers), I somehow managed to lose contact with the stunning girl I arrived with, and we hadn’t exchanged contact info. Gutted.

Anyway, a great place for music and drinks. 👍

We were on a away hen do. Rhys sorted us out in the lounge area - very polite and efficient. Had a great time and the music in the popworld area was brilliant! Didn’t want to leave. Thanks!!! 😊

Amazing night out, the staff are all lovely. They will all make sure you are safe and having a good night. Good music and fab drinks! Shoutout to paul and rhys for always making sure you are having a good time! Also paramedic Sarah for being amazing in any situation xx

First night out in Chester- great atmosphere, great choice of drinks, friendly staff (even doorstaff and security team). Didn't disappoint and will be visiting again very soon!!

I’m very confused lol- I lined up- and waited to go in and I got the worst ever treatment by the door staff- “fuck off” look at the state of you- “never come back here again” honestly I just lined up and wanted to go in?! I won’t come here again why would anyone go here when that one “doorman” has zero respect or manners 0/10

Had a great night there on Friday. Had one to many and dropped my phone and wallet in there. Phoned up in the morning and all there safe and sound - brilliant.

Letter sent to the management explains it all : sub human staff

Dear Sir / Madam,

I am writing to express my utter disgust at the way my son, [redacted], was treated by your door staff on the evening of Friday 6th January into the early hours of Saturday the 7th. I have emphasised the 7th as that date would have been my late wife’s, and his mother’s 50th birthday.

Sometime after midnight [redacted] felt overwhelmed with emotion and left the premises to compose himself.

When he tried to re-enter he was informed he could not and was told this was due to a drug policy.

Whilst this is entirely understandable position to take, your staff’s response should have been a professional reassertion of the policy of no re-admittance.

Instead, the staff decided to taunt him and laugh at his suffering. They clearly didn’t believe him (copy of her death certificate enclosed for the benefit of doubt), but even so, their actions not only fell short of normal professional standards, they fell short of basic human decency.

What sort of person takes pleasure in mocking someone over the recent loss of their mother to cancer, on what would have been her 50th birthday?

I very much doubt any action will be taken, but I’d strongly suggest some form of corrective coaching of your staff, as quite frankly, their behaviour was nothing short of abhorrent.

Approached 8 bouncers at the door on a Wednesday night, bouncer Dawid in the glasses denied my friend entry due to being too drunk, then without even speaking to me as I was behind her in the cue, he denied me entry as well, after granting my girlfriend entry, the guy gave no reason and wouldn't even speak to me, simply told me 'not tonight mate', the other bouncers couldn't understand or reason with us, they were questioning why Dawid wouldn't let us in, as we were very clearly sober.

Very disappointed in this situation, won't be visiting here again, 3 of my friends paid entry and had to leave early to regroup with us.

The night fell apart after this.
