A group of us turned up at 10:30. One of us was told he was ‘too drunk’ despite being no drunker than the rest of us. He is black which is the is the only thing that differentiated him from the rest of the group, and whilst I hope this wasn’t their reasoning, I have no other evidence to believe otherwise. Safe to say I’ll never be going here again.

good concept bad execution
you get 3 dj rooms that play some pretty decent music but its everything else that is a dissapointment.
toilets are horrible, cannot use them in peace. music is loud enough that it hurts your ears after long periods of time, cant imagine working there every night would do your ears very well, makes it practically impossible to communicate with anyone without having to shout directly into their ear. call me weak but i aint exactly there to pain myself.

i dont know much about the drinks either but i what i do know is they tend to end up on your clothes

Some bar staff are friendly. However, there was an instance with my friend a few months ago where she had been spiked, we asked for security to give us a hand and maybe some advice. The man spoke to us in a very hostile manner where he was shouting at us to leave and that we needed to get our friend out. We managed to talk to a nicer bouncer after this one but essentially were of no help, we were forced to call emergency services to support us after being dragged out. My friend who had been spiked suffered superficial bruises on her arm from the poor handling of the 1st bouncer.

On another occasion, another friend of mine was being sick, someone had asked one bar staff if we could get help in the toilet because the friend being sick was not able to stand or leave the toilet. Security did not come until a completely different member of staff from the bar was asked. Then when security arrived she spoke to us so rudely, at times she was seen on her phone on TINDER and messaging her friends on Snapchat talking about my friend on the toilet, and myself and another friend trying to care for the girl being sick. Security called the medic, and they both told us that it was our responsibility to get her home that night, but that we could not walk because it was a 40 minute walk home, and we could not get a taxi because they would not take our friend. When asked what our other options were to getting her home, the medic and security responded with hostility and very defensively, and repeated that we could not get a taxi home nor could we walk. But we didn’t have any other option. In addition to this, there were times where they had both rolled their eyes, looked at each other in judgement, or were evidently annoyed by the fact they were put in this situation (despite being trained to be able to manage a situation like this). The medic took a photo of my friends ID. No communication was given to us as to why he was doing this and what their plan was following this. All that we knew was that our friend needed to leave and that we could not walk or get a taxi and that following us exiting the building responsibility falls on us, her friends, to quote ‘deal with her’.

Upon being led out, my friend was dealt with the manual handling task of getting our friend (who was throwing up) out of the building (this route consisted of 2 lots of stairs, and men laughing at the state of our friend). Then we were left outside the ATIK building, the medic stated if we needed anything we could grab him from inside. He did not care to mention to us that there was a medical service a few meters away from the entrance. After waiting 20 minutes outside, having been left to tend to our friend who’s throwing up on herself at this point, someone helped us get the attention of the medics outside. 4 of them came to help, were very caring and helped us carry our friend to a taxi, and provided us with their contact details and a sick bag for the journey.

I am absolutely appalled by the way security and medic staff dealt with the situation, and shocked at how unprofessional the female security was. Their job is to help us, not stand outside the toilet swiping on tinder and gossiping about us to her friends on Snapchat. Absolutely disgusted.

I lost my receipts so I can’t get my stuff stored in cloakroom back on Saturday. Then on Sunday and Monday I wrote email and called atik as what it said to get my lost property back. There was no one answered. Remaining one star is for the friendly staff who finally answered me through instagram and gave my stuff back on Monday. But whats more interesting is that I only got my cards in bag. My 30 or more pounds of cash just vanished lol. Not sure about who took it but I’m not gonna go to this. They really bear the lost-property-rules in mind lol.

Bouncers on a strange power trip: kicked out my friend before he even entered the club for “intoxication” when he was not visibly drunk in any way and was just stood in the queue quietly going on his phone and put out “one foot straight out” as requested by the bouncer, to only then be refused entry. I, a young East Asian woman was then kicked out for politely asking the bouncers why my friend had not been let in? They kicked me out for “being rude” when I had not swore or used any abrasive language; I simply asked them a question in clear panic and worry. The bouncer laughed and smirked at me the whole time when I was trying to speak to him. I have never had a good experience with the bouncers at this club, particularly one bouncer of short/medium stature and light brown skin. I hope you sort out your bouncers’ behaviour soon otherwise these Google ratings will only keep getting worse. Disgraceful.

Nice club, well organised but be aware of the actual age range when coming here: if you are older than 21 then go somewhere else. It’s literally a kindergarten by night, no offence just plain truth.

Another thing to point: forget about having cocktails. The best you can get is long drinks, but I understand teenagers may just need an upgraded redbull to get wasted fast.

The medic, Casper and team were so lovely when dealing with my friend who was in a bad way, thank you for staying after hours to keep her safe until her mum came to get her, it’s really appreciated.
