A must see .....great guides and an insight into the renovation. Excellent tea rooms. Garden is interesting too. Marvellous to see the the volunteers work so hard. Allow at least 3 hours.

Fabulous active restoration project of this Georgian Stately home, with so much history behind it. The work of the volunteers so far is truly epic, but much more remains to be done. So your support is important.
The grounds and fabulous walled garden are now functionally restored and in production of a wide range of plants and fruit. These are worth a visit by themselves.
Really enjoyed our afternoon here and the refreshments are good too 😊🍰

We went for a guided tour. Very interesting to see the grounds and the house especially with the knowledgeable guide telling the history and story of the house. It is still in the process of being restored but walking through the rooms you get a very good idea how it used to be.

A fabulous afternoon at Copped Hall. The guides were brilliant and the history was fascinating. The renovations are progressing well, showing the old and the new. Well done to everyone involved. The new staircase is wonderful, although still a work in progress.

Beautiful building. Progress is amazing in restoration. Tge volunteers are so friendly and do all the work.
The grounds and walled garden are so peaceful. Plenty of grounds for all.
The food and drink facilities are lovely, either in the house or grounds.
Different events all year round.

I went there one evening for a photographic workshop. It was an amazing place with some interesting buildings to photograph at night. I'd love to go back during the day when it's open for visitors as it looks really interesting.

Great country walking routs.
Beautiful countryside.
Lots of farm animals on the fields.
Black berries bushes full of ripe berries everywhere.
The main attraction is Copped Hall House.
The house was built in 1753 for the Conyers family.
It was last owned by the Wythes family.
In 1917 in caught fire and was burnt out with only shell remaining.
In 1993, when the Copped Hall Trust was formed the restoration of the house had begun.
The restoration still ongoing at the moment.
Great place to come with dogs for a walk.
We have really enjoyed our visit in this area and definitely recommend it.

A beautiful manor house & still under restoration back to its former glory set in beautiful grounds with its splendid ancient oak trees & country views. I Look forward to seeing it finished 1 day in the future.
Will be attending it's open day tomorrow with all the multiple local crafts, locally produced jams from the fruits growing in the grounds & the honey show being held within this magnificent house
