Helpful and informative staff in so many areas. Volunteers who run the deaf support service are brilliant every three months will help maintain your hearing aids if they are NHS ones

2nd time attending a Blue Badge assessment, seen by the same occupational therapist again.
The female assessor once again extremely rude, sarcastic, more like a interrogator than someone who cares for disabled people, judgmental and in my opinion should not be allowed unsupervised to deal with public, I just wish I had asked my mum to come into the room with me or recorded the appointment, I will definitely do so next time.

What this person needs to realize is that not all disabilities are visible.
This was a comment that she made, "this is a center for disabled people, and by disabled you see what I mean" I am not sure if she is anti-male or anti Muslim but I remember clearly from 3 years ago she had the exact same attitude and told me I would not be receiving a blue badge however her decision was overturned by her superior.

I hope management see this review and allow a secret camera in without her knowledge to record her attitude and lack of professionalism .

It may have well been unintentional but working in an environment with people who have health problems, you should receive some sensitivity training rather than treating people like dog feces and judge a cover.

Another comment made which leads me to believe she is not fit to be in her position is, when I informed her I had a bad moped accident and have permanent damage to my back and that I was advised by the doctor it will get worse as I get older, her response was "but you are not old".

What is that even supposed to mean?

She looked at me with disgust when she asked if I did sports at school and I said no I could not, she replied what, no sports at all?

This was your choice was it she asked, I said no I have had neck problems since early infancy as well as being over weight, her response again was so it was your choice.

She asked me what medication I was on, I named 2 and was trying to think of the other medication I take, however she just started moving onto the next question, giving me a funny look.

She continually cut me off from speaking and trying to answer questions for me from her suggestions.

I could go on longer but I think you should get the message from what I have written already.

Trying to find anything that inspire deal with during this pandemic is like trying to put oil and water together by mixing - its next to impossible. Could be done much more efficiently (other places have done it) so I really can't recommend it. Only contact through being online and then they don't respond (Blue Badge people are the exception though still only available online). I pity the people who don't have or do internet or computers and there are some out there. Useless place right now. If it improves I will come back to edit. Good luck with trying to get any answers from Inspire - they are totally Uninspiring!!

Awful little place, unless you're literally a limbless torso, you're not getting a blue badge from these mugs. I'll be getting my blue badge from another Borough thanks, unfortunately Inspire seem to be stuck in the dark ages where they only count visible disabilities, and if you get a little Indian man assessing you, rebook it, the bloke is a jobsworth clown.

I went there to apply for a blue badge for my mother and I met with one of the assessors, Chandy. Very nice lady and very helpful. She provides us with very useful information about my mother's disability and how to live with it.

The gentleman I spoke with was really nice and helpful. But they have put in place a one-way system for obvious reasons but the issue is that for anyone that is coming for a BlueBadge assessment mobility is a problem so you can't ask them to go all the way round the back of building. Surely a different option is better than one-way.
