As second hand shops go this one is superior. It recouped taxation on the value of contributions and thereby increases the value of their sales by 25 percent.
The the goods on display are clean and fresh and unusually are sorted by colour.
There are an assortment of small household goods and a good range or books.
There is a changing room and a back room for sorting the donations
Staff seem competent and most are helpful. Some seem to be undergoing training.
Probably the best all round second hand shop in the vicinity

Best avoided. Overpriced second-hand goods, many only fit for recycling. Often more expensive than buying the same items new. Return policies contrived to circumvent basic consumer rights. They also seem to have no qualms about selling counterfeit goods; which is fraud under UK law. Manager becomes aggressive and unpleasant when dealing with issues of this sort. Have had a good experience of Red cross stores elsewhere—such as in Blackheath Standard—so it’s not because of the organisation’s policies, more how this branch is run.

As a poor person, it's cheaper for me to shop at Primark.
I recently picked up a used pair of flip flops, I couldn't believe the price £9.50, I asked why and was told that they were designer flip flops.
We'll never again would I set foot inside another British cross shop, people donate there use item so poorer people like myself can afford them, but now the prices are just plain stupid.

For a non profitable organisation the prices could be better. I've seen jeans priced up higher than primarks. The get most of their items donated so could sell at a lower price and still make profit.

I was here the other day and witnessed an old man at the till slipping a £20 note from the till in to his pocket disgusting considering this is a charity.

Amazing customer service, very fair prices and lots of brand new Zara and Bershka items. Definitely worth a visit 🌻

Shocked is an understatement. Was shouted at and told to F off by member of staff after I heard her talking to colleague very disrespectfully about customers. I told her she should speak quietly and she went crazy. Was witnessed by people in the high street as lady followed me out of the store shouting with my 3 year old grandchild with me. I am contacting the CEO about the aggression of this lady in a charity setting, not good!

Rude people. Donated couple of times good items in new condition and they didn’t even say thank you. Just grab it and walk away.
