A hail to the heroes of the estuary and bay. This life boat station which has been operating since 1988 is often open to visitors, assisted by local volunteers. At the time of writing, the gift shop is undergoing a refurbishment. The Atlantic 75 inshore life boat is powerful with its twin engines. Parking is on the near by pay and display with public toilets adjacent.
