Busy Bees at St Albans City Hospital

Excellent nursery with amazing staff

We couldn't have asked for a better start for our son and daughter than St Albans Hospital nursery. All of the staff make the effort to get to know all of the children and families, regardless of what room they're in, which makes for a genuinely caring environment. The staff are incredibly professional in the way they develop children, with a wide range of activities to make learning fun and seamless, whilst also being great personalities. The manager, Claire, is extremely diligent and accessible and is as engaged and hands-on as the room staff. We feel fortunate to be part of it.

I have nothing but praise for this nursery. I was very nervous to enrol my youngest into a nursery setting due to his visual impairment. Management and staff made his transition seamless and stress free for myself and most importantly my son. He has built an amazing bond with many staff members that will last for many years and is always very excited to enter those nursery doors.

This nursery has been amazing with my LB since he was 8months old and if it wasn't due to relocating he would be finishing preschool this summer to go off to school. They have made our lives going back to work a breeze with their empathy towards us as a family. The key people and management are inventive to any queries i have ever had and worked with us in raising our LB. He loves this nursery and has formed amazing relationships with key people in each room. We will miss all the staff here dearly as they have meant so much to my child and our family for the last 3 and a bit years.

Upon collecting my nephew many times i was impressed with the warmth and professionalism of the manager and the staff team. The element i waa impressed with was the sound yet individual knowledge held on my nephew as an independent individual. Feedback at the end of the sessions was always informative and the very few concerns i raised were always addressed in a prompt but professional manner. Choosing the right childcare must be difficult for any parent but the team here at St Albans City Hospital Busy Bees go above and beyond to ensure your needs and requirements are fully met.

My daughter has attended this nursery since she was six months old and I have nothing but praise for the nursery and all of the staff. My daughter is now appraoching 2yrs and everyday she is excited to go to nursery. The manager is always responsive and easy to communicate with. I would happily recommend this nursery to anyone.

(2021) DISGUSTING, a member of staff had seen another staff member grab our 2 Yr old abruptly by more weight on one arm than the other and she still works there as her "disciplinary" was 'further training' So be aware as your kids clearly are not safe here!!!! I would not recommend sending your kids to this busy bees behind the city hosp and I am taking this further.

They know who me and my partner are and we know 'most' of the staff are lovely however this has happened and they expect us to be happy with the outcome. Ridiculous, bullies.
