Playdays Nursery

Such a fantastic nursery that I couldn't recommend highly enough. Our daughter has been there since the Baby Room which is just over 4 years now and she loves going there every day. The staff are very accommodating and friendly and always come up with interesting activities for the children to experience every day. There is a newly refurbished outside space, segmented for different types of play, trips to the common to experience the wildlife and term-time swimming which has really boosted my daughter’s confidence in the pool. What's not to like!

I initially chose the nursery, because they had the biggest garden I had seen in my search for nurseries in Wimbledon so far. Then it turned out to have the most caring and loving staff too! It has been the best choice for my son. He was not fluent in English and had a very patient and kind support. The settling in process was super professional and soon he loved his new teachers and fiends. I can absolutely recommend this nursery. Very high quality in terms of teachers and activities.

We have sent our son to Playdays for over a year and a half now, starting in the baby room and now in the toddlers room. He loves going to Playdays and we have been very happy with everything - particularly how the team have managed the very difficult circumstances throughout this year. Other plus points are the very friendly and dedicated staff, and how they always make themselves available to give us feedback and answer questions. Our son also loves the big garden they have at Playdays, and furthermore, Wimbledon Common is on their doorstep so they have regular outings to play in the woods. we are all very happy with Playdays.

The staff at nursery were caring, attentive and loving and I could not have wished for a better care for my son. He greeted his nursery teachers with a big smile each morning, which showed how much he enjoyed his time there. We are sad to move to another nursery since we have relocated further away.

The nursery has amazing outdoor area and spacious rooms inside which is a big bonus. The nursery management has been very good at implementing all COVID 19 measures and keeping children , staff and families safe .

We used Playdays from 2017 to 2020. I was always very happy with the nursery and felt completely confident entrusting our children to their care. They are professional, responsive and the children always had a lovely time there. For me, the unique selling point of this nursery is the incredible outdoor space - there is a beautifully designed garden/playground that really makes it stand out from other options.

I cannot sing enough praises of this nursery - it is in my opinion the BEST nursery in the area (this is my daughter's 3rd nursery as we moved a few times, and I visited around 20 different nurseries in the area).
First and foremost - it is the amazing staff managed by Lucy. Professional, caring and genuinely loving their jobs. I am a very paranoid mother, and always worry sick about my child. And the staff could not be more understanding and supportive (yes, answering numerous phone calls from me with patience :-). My daughter loves her teachers, talks a lot about them at home, and now says that she wants to be a teacher too!
Another very important point for me is the nursery premises - it is the cleanest I have seen, bright, and very cosy. They also have an amazing outside play area - large and safe.
I am very happy to see how my daughter is thriving in the nursery environment, cared for, and loved.
We are so happy with the nursery, that we decided to postpone the house move until our daughter graduates from pre-school. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for exceptional service!

Two children have passed through Playdays Wimbledon Hill, the care, love, understanding, and attention they have received has been brilliant. Despite all the insanity of the last few years Lucy and her team have been wonderful, with every drop off we knew they were being nurtured and cared for. Thanks for everything.

We've been incredibly happy with every aspect of Playdays Wimbledon Hill. S has loved going to nursery, and we feel he's been loved and cared for by an experienced, completely trustworthy and thoroughly sensible team. Lovely big garden and frequent trips to the Common means he's been outside loads. We've had an incredibly good experience compared to friends with kids at other nurseries.
