My 18 month son has attended The Burrows for the last 6 months. I honestly cannot speak highly enough of the nursery and of the ladies who are caring for my little boy.
As a teacher, I had very high (almost unachievable) expectations for my son's care and am pleased to say that The Burrows has exceeded these. As any parent will know, leaving your child when you return to work is a huge wrench. The Burrows has made this process so much easier for me, my husband and most importantly, my son.
My son spent 5 months in babies where he received impeccable care and has recently moved to toddlers, which he loves. The nursery has made this transition very easy for him and he has a great time when he is there. He always comes home with a huge smile and importantly, always goes into the nursery with an equally big smile and a squeal of excitement. Even though the children have key carers, it is clear from speaking to the staff that they all know my son very well and are able to share little anecdotes about his developing personality.
The facilities are second to none and the nursery makes the most of the wonderful outdoor space that Porthcawl has to offer. The staff are very welcoming and happy from morning to night. The menu is healthy, varied and prepared fresh on site everyday and I love fact that my son already sits at a table and eats his meal with his friends as a family.
The Burrows is like an extended family to my son, he has wonderful relationships with the staff and I have been able to return to work knowing that he is brilliantly cared for and treated as an individual. He is developing into a sociable, curious and most importably, happy little boy and that is partly due to the excellent care he receives at The Burrows.
My husband and I are proud to support The Burrows and would not hesitate to recommend the nursery to a friend.

My 20 month old son attends toddlers at the nursery and i cannot recommend them highly enough. He always comes home happy, content and well cared for. Since joining the nursery 10 months ago i have never experienced any issues and all the staff are friendly and welcoming. I really couldn't be happier with the excellent care my son receives whilst at the nursery.

My niece has been going to the nursery since she was a baby and is obviously thriving there. She talks of the staff and her friends with great affection and adores going there. She has had a variety of experiences from dance to music to cooking and enjoys every day. As a family we really appreciate the care that she receives at The Burrows.

My son has been attending The Burrows Nursery for the last 2 years. It is home from home. All staff are always so happy from morning to night, my son runs in and is always reluctant to leave because he has had such a good time. My husband works shifts and the nursery are extremely accomodating and flexible regarding our childs attendance often adapting last minute. My son has additional needs and the Special Education Needs Coordinator at the nursery has actively sought to adapt and include any recommendations from professionals. This nursery was at the forefront of identifying issues which enabled us to gain early intervention and diagnosis. The Nursery follows the curriculum, finding innovative ways to engage the children and it keeps all parents up to date with 'news letters' and emails. The Kitchen has a 5 star rating for hygeine and they cater for every dietry requirement. It is hard enough going to work and leaving your children but knowing they are being cared for to such a great degree by people who genuinely adore them makes it that much easier.

We are proud to say our daughter has been attending The Burrows since 2011. Things we like about The Burrows are i) the staff, who are without exception warm, friendly, well trained and lovely with the children ii) the learning for everyone from babies to pre-school, all in a supportive and fun way iii)the use of the Welsh language which is incorporated in all aspects of nursery life, iv) the promotion of healthy life style for children through the nutritious meals and encouragement of physical activity. Most of all we love the fact that our daughter is treated as an individual and is growing up to be a happy, confident and fun girl. This is in no small part due to the wonderful care she receives in the Burrows. This nursery has an exceptional reputation and it is highly deserved.

We have 2 grandsons who attend the Burrows several days a week and have visited the centre ourselves, there is no doubt that, not only are the staff very friendly and helpful but they also provide an excellent play and learning environment for all the youngsters in attendance.

Our youngest grandson was born profoundly deaf and the staff have been both, supportive and pro-active in ensuring his nursery experience is a shared and happy one with all the other children.

The boys love going to the nursery and we are in no doubt that this ethos will continue into mainstream education.

We would recommend this nursery to any parents wishing to provide the best start for their children

My Son has attended the Burrows since he was 9 months old and is now in Toddler room. He gives me a kiss and goes straight down to his room, he is so relaxed and happy everytime which makes me leaving him not a challenge or 1 bit difficult. Im always happy leaving him. The staff are all lovely and great with my son and the other children. I would highly recommend this nursery.

The best nursery!

My daughter has just returned to school after a wonderful summer of attending The Burrows, holiday club. So many different activities and trips took were planned, she thoroughly enjoyed.

My other little girl (1 years old) also attends weekly and I can't rate this nursery highly enough. The staff are lovely and I feel totally at ease leaving them.

The facility its self, is secure, clean and beautifully decorated. They have a closed Facebook page posting regular updates and photos of your child (if you wish) and now a new app "family" sending direct updates of your child's day, to your phone.

Having moved house a couple of times in the last ten years, I can honestly say this nursery knocks spots of others, that my children have attended locally.
