Wood Park Off-Road

Went to wood park for some 4x4 driver training and was blown away with the varied terrain and excellent instruction. From driving their defender 110 to my discovery around some challenging hills bomb hole steep decnents, forest tracks and quarry. Really great and amazing just what these machines can do when you are shown how. Highly reccomended.

Me and my son went on this 4x4 experience today and I must say what an amazing day !! 5*****, I was amazed as to what you can do with a 4x4 vehicle with the right guidance and help. Richard "JUMBO" was a great host and not to say a great person, Thank you JUMBO. Ps "NO PRESSURE JUMBO NO PRESSURE"

Where do we start? Richard was one of the friendliest, nicest people we have ever met. He made us feel relaxed and welcome from the very first minute. Extremely knowledgeable in everything to do with off-roading. We learnt a lot more than we ever expected too. This was our daughters first time behind a wheel and he was the most patient instructor imaginable. Comical, witty and very interesting to talk too. We were privileged to see his father’s tractor which is approaching 70 years old. We left feeling like we had met a distant relative and had caught up on old times. Every second was a joy, thank you again Richard. A wonderful day, and wonderful memories.

Had a brilliant day off- roading as a surprise 60th birthday treat courtesy of my wife. Jumbo was the perfect host and we had the Defender 110 to ourselves. Learnt a lot about the Landy and it's capabilities. We were given a tour of his fantastic workshops too. Highly recommended!

Excellent day out if you are 4x4 oriented do not miss out highly recommended

I can't comment on the actual experience because I didn't go in the end. But I feel that Richard deserves a good review. I had to cancel a booking for my stag a little closer to the event than was really fair on him.

Richard's response was so understanding. He said he knew what it was like trying to organise a big group and wished me the best for my wedding.

I'll definitely try to find another reason to go and do some off roading in no small part because of his excellent attitude.

Action packed adventure, cleverly tailored to suit each member of our family. Both sons aged 14 and 17, plus their father, had their own challenging experiences and brilliant fun. It was the highlight of their holiday in Wales and something they will remember and talk about for years.

No doubt we will be back again to experience, what is, a huge and varied off-road area. We booked the 2.5 hour package and it went past very quickly - we could have stayed for the day!

Lovely Jumbo James was as entertaining as the driving - he is an amazing chap, full of interesting/amusing stories and we look forward to seeing him again.
