I recently purchased an office chair from Severn Furnishing. Nigel was extremely knowledgeable and helped me pick the correct one for me. The service from start to finish was top notch. I am 5ft 5inches tall and suffer from long term back pain. A month or so ago I popped into Severn Furnishing with my husband, desperately looking for a ‘proper’ chair for me while working from home.
Thanks to Nigel’s help and knowledge, I have now got a new chair that is tailored to my needs. Working from home is no longer a struggle. My new chair is not cheap but I paid for comfort and quality. I can also focus on my work better. Would definitely recommend this company.

Nigel is really helpful. As well as giving great advice and allowing me to borrow one of his showroom chairs to test out in my home office, once I'd ordered the chair he brought it to my home office and set it up right for my body shape. Great service!

My husband and I both needed new work chairs. Working from home using dining room chairs over lockdown had crippled us both. Nigel was extremely knowledgeable about all the chairs he sold and took the time to look at how we worked, how we sat and where we ached to give us impartial advice and guidance. He was polite and courteous and gave the level of service you don't often find these days.
We chose completely different chairs but both felt confident that we had made the right choice for us. Nigel kept us up to date with delivery expectations and then delivered them to our home, setting them up to ensure we would get the optimum benefit.
Five stars isn't enough for Severn Furnishing and I have no hesitation in recommending them .

My partner has struggled for years to find an office chair that is both comfortable and enables the correct posture to address her back pain. Nigel spent time with her to understand her particular needs, and to identify the right chair for her from the wide selection in the showroom. When he delivered the chair he adjusted it to suit her particular needs.
However, it transpired after a few days of using it that the chair did not seem as comfortable as the one she had tried in the showroom. Nigel and Katie both spent more time with us to identify the problems and a solution was found.
We enjoyed prompt attention and excellent customer service from start to finish. When a problem arose (not of their making I hasten to add), they did not rest until it was sorted to our satisfaction and my partners delight!!! A big, big thank you to Nigel & Katie.

I bought 2 HAG chairs from Severn Furnishing 11 years ago. 6 months ago the most expensive chair's seat tensioner fell off. I spoke to Severn Furnishing who spoke to HAG about a repair - they weren't interested. Nigel - I presume the owner - was prepared to fix it himself if I brought the chair into the shop. I did so and just after an hour it was fixed - with no charge. What fantastic service! I'm so glad I bought from them in the first place.

Bought an office chair here for working from home. A decent in shop selection to try so you can decide what constitutes value for money. When you are looking for a quality product that you will sit on for 40 hours a week, it really is worth getting their advice, and investing a decent amount. I was given plenty of time and attention to make my choice, and two weeks later took delivery.
