I never thought there could be such a badly maintained office building in Cambridge. I have been here for less than a year and have not been happy with its facilities such as toilets and tiny kitchens at all. Also the air conditioning of the office seems not working properly and we frequently have problem.
One the positive side, One of the staff is very helpful ( Phill).

Unsecure, frequently has homeless people in the car park leaving stolen bikes and hiding drugs. Lots of things break and never get fixed (1 lift hasn't worked for a year) works to fix the lifts was meant to start end of Feb, a man came and looked at it but hasn't been back since. Toilets leak around the bottom. 1 shower for the whole building in a windowless room and an extractor fan that hasn't worked in a long time. They finally have a decent cleaner now who is lovely but prior to this one you'd find them sitting around on their phone more than actually cleaning.

Edit: update, one year later. We've only had one functioning lift since my initial post. They claim the broken one will be replaced next week. The car park is still an issue with a bike lock vandalised this week (picture of the cut chain). Bathrooms occasionally don't have toilet seats or soap.
Phil left, sadly, but his replacement is also very nice.
Original post:
Famously poor building management. In our building the ancient lifts are broken more often than not. Repairs take months. The "secure" car park gate was replaced by a barrier that can be walked around. Lighting that was installed to protect staff at night broke within weeks and was never repaired. Leaky windows never replaced. The list goes on and while it may all seem petty it shows a company that would rather save money than reputation.
There's been some nice staff though, Phill in particular, who do their best with what they've got.

This company just doesn't care. 1 out of 2 lifts has been broken for over 2 years.

They refused to get a proper gate to protect bikes and late night staff from people coming into the car park at night to take heroin.

Now they've covered the the sheltered front of the building with massive plant pots so that homeless people can't sleep there.

One bathroom has only had a cold water tap for 6 years.

Visited to check out their coworking space. It was rubbish. Small, cramped and deserted, it felt depressing. Such a disappointment after seeing the fancy website. My previous experience with coworking (not with Regus) was far far better and cheaper!

Staff were friendly though.

Lovely staff working at the centre, but I'd avoid Regus if you are looking for a a serviced office. The head office couldn't care less about their clients and hide behind a cloak of invisibility. They are unresponsive and inflexible and if they owe you any money, then good luck to you.
The workspaces themselves are at best passable, but there has evidently been no investment for years. With the plethora of new serviced offices in Cambridge, I can see the bell tolling for Regus (and not before time).

I will divide this review into two sections, the centre itself and Regus as an organisation.

The centre:

You get what you pay for to a great extent. It is one of the cheaper options in central Cambridge, though beware of the headline fees as there are a lot of hidden charges associated. The centre is run down and in poor decorative state. The offices are cramped. The lifts work only sporadically and there are other maintenance issues that arise and seem to take a long time to address.
There are some pros to the centre, the location is excellent. The staff on site are generally friendly and professional. The internet is fast and reliable.

Regus/ Head office:

It's here where the greatest issues lie. The company is one of the worst I have dealt with across any sector and in any walk of life. They are entirely inflexible and hide behind some broken ticket system meaning that you can never talk to anyone in head office to get issues resolved. They gave no consideration to the Covid-19 situation and to the impact on their customers. At the time of writing it is 3 months since we requested the return of our retainer following leaving the office and they have still not returned the money. For reasons known only to themselves they then blame this situation on us the customer and invent new excuses for not returning the money on a daily basis. If I was being generous I'd put it down to gross incompetence, though others might interpret it as a potentially terminal liquidity issue with the company.

In any event, I would advise proceeding with great caution before taking out any Regus products or services.

*** EDIT ***
Whilst Regus kindly took the trouble to respond to this review below, they then of course completely ignored the email which they had requested I send.
It does make me wonder if the only reason they respond to negative reviews is to put on a public face of caring about their customers.

P.S. Still no deposit returned!
