St Athanasius Monastery

Had a great trip around this monastery. Made to feel very welcome and the kids thoroughly enjoyed. Beautiful gardens and amazing people.

A place where everything is easy, surrounded by Monks busy 24/7. They teach, they feed, they work, they pray and do everything by the will of God. Please visit this place to experience a break from the dirty world. May the almighty God bless this place and his servants (the monks), and all those who attend to that place.

This Coptic Orthodox Monastery is tucked away in the Dalby Forest. From the road you can see numerous statues of monks in white habits. Very ethereal.

What a peaceful & blessed place and the monks are so friendly ,
