If your even contemplating a visit to an Osteopath look no further. Alison is clearly very knowledgable and her experience in this field is vast. I found her to be both approachable and understanding . After only two visits and a take home exercise plan my pain medication has been reduced by half. Alison is a first class Osteopath and I feel so fortunate to have found such a caring, accommodating practitioner.

I am 70 years of age and suffered with knee pain for sometime. Having tried all the available stuff over the counter with little effect. I recently attended the ABC Osteopathic Clinic, I received Ultrasound treatment together with manipulation. I would give this treatment the highest recommendation for pain relief. It being the only one that works. I would like to say a great big thank you to Alison, for a job very well done! I received excellent service and advise anyone to do the same.

Thank you Alison
I recommend this osteopathist to anyone who is suffering . I had been in excruciating PAIN for 4 weeks in my thoracic and cervical areas.
I booked an appointment yesterday, pain in neck shoulder going down my left arm to my hand thumb,
I have got up this morning and the pain has eased to around markers of 4 whilst yesterday it was 10 and beyond .
Thank you
So much

I honestly don’t know where to start with this mornings visit. I have been receiving treatment from Alison at this clinic. Upon arriving I informed Alison that my back was feeling brand new but it seems to have had a set back this morning. I had received a documented treatment and exercise plan from Alison the week before. In that treatment plan she had advised me to start light exercising again. When I told her I had been to the gym and swimming she stated that’s not what she had advised. I then got undressed and made the mistake of saying that the room was cold. Alison became very oppressive with this comment and started arguing with me that the room was 21 degrees and to quote her “she was roasting”. I am the patient and also the one hardly wearing any clothes and I felt the room was cold and i’m entitled to say that as i’m paying for the treatment. I didn’t mean to offend her. I then got on the bed and Alison continued to argue about the temperature saying do you want me to show you the thermometer and also what exercises I should be doing. I pointed out that this isn’t what was written in my treatment plan, to which Alison then stated that this wasn’t working out. I asked her to do up my bra which she had undone to start the treatment. I had to ask her to do this for me 3 times as I didn’t want to just stand up and expose myself. Once she had done it she opened the treatment door and shouted for her male colleague to come into the room. I at this point was still in a state of undress wearing a bra and shorts. I immediately told her not to bring her male colleague into the room until i’ve got dressed. Alison stated that I will have to pay for the session which was £65. Due to her hostile behaviour obviously I have refused to pay anything, I have not received any treatment at all this session. Alison then started shouting at me that i’ve attacked her since the moment I walked in. Clearly saying the room was cold has offended her deeply. I was made to feel very uncomfortable and she had no respect for my own personal dignity. I certainly wouldn’t recommend Alison. She’s very unprofessional and completely deranged! I have also since had a phone call from another patient who has had to go through a similar ordeal. All of which is being reported to the Osteopath Council. Appalling appalling appalling !

I have had 2 appointments so far with Allison and already seeing improvements. Allison is thorough and professional and takes time to assess the issue. She is also very friendly and I would definitely recommend her. Just wish I had found her sooner!

After struggling with the after-effects of a twisted ankle for 5 months with no improvement, a friend recommended seeing Alison. After 3 appointments I saw a dramatic improvement. Allison's advice and treatment was spot on. Ongoing exercises see my ankle continuing to improve. Alison is a thorough, friendly professional and I would definitely recommend her. I wish I hadn't wasted several months before seeking her advice.
